Namco plays it safe and bets on nostalgia. Reasonable since they got a backlash from their fan base after V. We talked about it numerous times.

SC5 had characters nobody wanted to play as and the series was in a state of decline despite the features that i liked from 5 like the character creator.

I'm not saying 5 was perfect (although, yeah, loved the character creator), just that I was hoping for more with 6. They could try to improve and build new stuff on the existing classic characters, it's the exact same movesets, most likely mapped on the same controls too...
Sorry I did not want to derail the thread, I may grab the game if it hits a low-enough price just for couch fun with friends but I really can't say I'm excited for anything I've seen.

It'd have been surprising if he wasn't in it, but it's nice to have confirmation at least!

His codpiece shall piece the heavens.

They can't really afford to take risks with this franchise given it's history with SC 3,4 and 5.
