Here I thought that the crotch guard was for comedic effect.
They did that before with his SCIII alt.

Every reveal that isn't Lizardman/Aeon makes me a bit more nervous. He showed up in one of the story mode illustrations (the one depicting Nightmare's SC1 crew), but had a sword and shield. I'm hoping it's not just a basic lore mention :|
Voldo is a bit of a no-brainer. Dude hasn't missed a single main title. He's probably the single most unique fighter in the series.

Touche but I meant a new design in today's climate where people are a lot more critical of such designs.
While he never was my main, I've always played decent with him and have won as much battles as him as with my main due to his unpredictable style and people not really used to fight against him
I mean, maybe that's just me but ...
I've played Soulcalibur 4 and 5 a LOT, and I'm incredebly disappointed that 6 have all the exact same characters with the exact same moves (even fucking Ivy have not changed clothes) ... Plus it does not look like a major graphical improvement from 5.
After all this time I must say I was expecting more, again maybe that's me, sorry if it feels like a drive-by.
