I wouldn't be surprised if we see him get his powers in this game (that Spider jumping in it's tank seems to hint at it) and he's playable in a sequel.
Considering how Spider Man is a Vet in this game and he is facing pretty much.... everyone. I would NOT be surprised if this game was the introduction of the "SpiderVerse".
Seriously, I have what? 8 Villains confirmed so far? And Spidey is alone? No way... they have a secret. Miles might be the obvious choice, but i think there will be something else.

Spider-Man will win.
Spider-Man is Marvel's most famous, renowned and most popular character; so a AAA Spider-Man game with enough heart, love and passion behind it will review and sell like gangbusters.
Let's just hope that Miles is kept on the back burner as this is a Peter Parker story. As an OG Spider-Man fan, I love Peter Parker and I'm excited to play a game where I get to play as and enjoy a story involving Peter Parker from start to finish.
Really not liking the character models at all. They have this dead look to them. I like how Spidey looks in his suit and everyone else who is cover up. But them faces I am not digging them at all just like DMC5. With that said the scope of the game looks amazing and really looking forward to how Insominia Games knocks it out of the park.
That's a weird comparison. DMC5's faces are absolutely fantastic, meanwhile the faces here are... well, those.

Yeah, it looks great, of these three I'm not sure I can pick between the Iron Spider suit and this new one since both look amazing lol.

I wouldnt expect too many more villains since the more they include, the more difficult it is to give them focus in the game. Im pretty sure that Insomniac has a multi-game deal with Sony and Marvel, so they have to think about who the next game(s) will have as the big attractions for villains.
I doubt they just set aside Venom and Carnage
Or perhaps those are specifically the two villains that they do set aside, since Insomniac said there will be no symbiotes in this game.
DLC timed around the Venom movie release, perhaps?
Brian Intihar has said himself recently that there are more villains in the game that they have yet to reveal - and that was as of E3 2018.
As someone who is not really a fan of spiderman or marvel in general, this is looking superb. Got it preordered
They aren't gonna throw them all out there in one game. There's already a good amount of villains in this game that are not small Spider-Man villains. If you told me we would get a game with Vulture, Rhino, Electro, Scorpion, Mister Negative, Kingpin, Shocker, and Mystery Villain, I would think that would be a full roster for a packed game, but they also have Silver Sable as an antagonist in there. It seems we're also getting a few more if what the developers say is anything to go by, I'm expecting maybe 1 or 2 big time Spider-Man villains, I would go with Green Goblin and then we will have some lesser villains like Taskmaster and Tombstone to round out the whole roster as side villains.
I don't think there's any way villains like Sandman, Lizard, Kraven, and Mysterio are all in there. I think those will be saved for a future game along with the Symbiote villains.
Maybe God of War will win. Review scores can be very impactful of course. Then again, this is Spider-Man, one of the biggest names in the business, so who knows? :P

A) I've known plenty of women who wear jeans and a top with a jacket as well. Seems like fairly normal clothing to me.
B) Why would it be a problem if they made her a little boyish in this?

The only one I don't like is Electro. I think all of the others look pretty great, especially Vulture.

When you said DLC you just reminded me Black Cat is in this too haha, yeah this game is jam packed. And maybe you're right, each one will have a new villain I believe as far as the DLC goes.

What about Spider-Man's suit rippling in high winds - is that effect still in the game?
This game is poised to be the GOAT Spider-Man game! Any GOAT villains that don't show up in the main narrative will assuredly do so in the DLC's!
Ooh, that explains it. I love MJ's outfit. Definitely one of my favorite designs so far, alongside Electro's new costume.
I believe Spidey will also reach 90 at Meta and with the big name, it should beat GoW sales imo.
Critically, it's hard to expect Spider-Man to beat God of War considering what a special, almost groundbreaking case the latter seems to be. Although, I do expect it to get at least a 90. However, I would be genuinely surprised if Spider-Man doesn't outsell God of War. We don't just have a larger reach with comic book fans (both casual and hardcore) and gamers, but Spider-Man is a beloved character for people of all ages. It's gonna pull in casuals, people who don't game at all, parents and their children, so on and so forth. It's gonna sell like some pretty freaking amazing wheatcakes hotcakes.

I always wanted to get one of the Hot Toys but you know, price is interesting on them. I always wanted an amazing Spider-Man (see what I did there) figure but only one I liked from them was Homecoming. Didn't have much money for that so skipped it. Now this baby comes in. Preordering it.
