I've experienced wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many Bisexual guys cheating on their girlfriends when it comes to dating. I'm not going to cheat OR knowingly be an accessory to cheating, but damn, there are a lot of Bisexual cheaters anecdotally. Is this normal, or am I in a pretty foul hotspot for it?

Though it may seem that way, I can assure you that not all bisexual people are cheaters. Unfortunately, there are rampant cheaters of every sexual orientation.

Northwest Florida is a shithole. So tired of the intolerance for LGBT+ folks, the 70+% of the population supporting Trump no matter how much of an unmitigated piece of shit he is, and the awful tourists who have no respect for anyone but themselves, leaving garbage on the beaches for others to pick up after them and driving like they're the only person on the road.

I miss the ocean. It's been almost 3 whole weeks since I've last seen it. It hurts.

Sorry I was trying to think of something gay to say but all I've got at the moment is that my gay ass wishes it lived on a beach.

I basically do yet I never go. It's always so crowded! But there is this awesome Cajun restaurant down there that convinces me to visit every now and then.

Kettttt we've talked so much and yet somehow I didn't know you were a fan of Chrono Cross. I love Chrono Cross and think it's criminally underapreciated..

It was actually the first JRPG that I beat, so it'll always be really special to me just for that reason alone, but I really did just love everything about it. Everything involving the story, the massive cast, the music, the backgrounds, it was just all so good! I kind of want to start up a playthrough right now and actually go the route where you don't help Kid and get all the way cooler party members. I've never gone down that route just because it feels so heartless to just abandon her there all of a sudden.

And I'll never really get the complaints about it not connecting to Chrono Trigger enough, because there's a lot in there that ties back into it. (I'm still holding out for Chrono Break too, I'll never give up!)

Yeah, it really is just exhausting. I live in southwest Georgia, so I deal with all of that as well, just without the tourists. We just have to hang in there and do our best to get away from these places!

I do my best to take it a day at a time. NW Florida has been pretty nice to me which is rather fortunate all things considered. Now growing up in Alabama? Not so much. But that's another story.

Unrelated: anyone have a Twitter or Instagram I should follow? My new job allows -a lot- of downtime so I've pretty much run out of internet to explore. Funny how that even seems possible.

Ettiquete question: can i just use queer to refer to the diaspora in general without excluding anyone?

It has been used as an umbrella term by members of the community, but I'd be careful labeling specific individuals as queer without them explicitly identifying as such, due to the history of the word being derogatory.

If there was a single word to use to refer to the entire community though, it would be queer. 'Gay community' used to be popular a few decades ago, but most people just use LGBTQ+ as a catch-all these days.

If you're hetero, I'd be careful using it. If you're not hetero, I would still be careful but you have a bit more leeway lol. A lot of us are queer by definition, but not everyone has reclaimed the word for themselves yet (or wants to)

Yeah, I have no interest in being referred to as queer. Now, I know people may not mean it in a negative way when using it but if I ask to be referred to as gay I expect someone to respect that.

"Queer community" seems to be a widely accepted as a term to refer to LGBTQ+ people as a whole, but I'd be curious as to whether others have had different experiences with reactions to the term.

It ties in perfectly! It answers a real question that Trigger left wide open while being thoughtful and careful enough not to much too much directly with Triggers plotline, which so many sequels do and fail at spectacularly.

And the art, music, and atmosphere are just so good! It's such a delightful aesthetic that really sells it's unique setting. It has this fascinating feeling that is almost like, both comfy and yet alien and bizarre?

Thanks for your question! Even as someone who refers to themselves as queer, I still tend to say "LGBTQ community" or "LGBTQ history" when talking about it It's honestly just a safer bet to ensure no one feels weirded out, and that can definitely happen especially if it's a straight person who is talking about the community or history.

I love that game so much, and I really wish I could find higher res versions of the backgrounds. All I can find is this album, and they're just a little small! https://imgur.com/a/7E4oK#0

great from those who responded!

I have fewer ppl on Snapchat so it seemed like the best place. No employers on there.

That's great news! It's always great to find people who are supportive of you!

i missed this earlier, but yeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssss
Tales of Graces F was my first Tales game. I fell off it eventually but the skill-learning system was excellent and gave a sense of progress at a good pace. I didn't get into any of the gameplay of other Tales games as much and the only one I finished was Zestiria, just for Sorey and Mikleo.

How do you take a good ass picture? I've tried so many different angles, and it ain't working. Do I have to record myself then screencap it or something, like I'm at a loss.

(Also, yay at the community spotlight!)

Do you mean a good picture of your ass specifically, or just a really good picture in general?

The first, I think.

Stand on your tip toes (like you're wearing heals) and stand to the side while taking the photo in a mirror? If you want a back facing shot, you'll have to use the timer, ofc.

The tea is, embrace what you have. If you don't have a plump donk it isn't going to magically become juicy on film.

of my butt, lol. I can get a good photo otherwise, it's just the backside that's hard to capture.

Ohh, I haven't tried using the timer yet. I'll try that this weekend.

It's even more difficult because I want the picture to be of me laying down on my stomach, so I have to reach my arm back awkwardly. I need like a harness hanging from the ceiling that I can put my phone in and put on a timer, lmao.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for somewhere to fit in around here.
Please excuse my awkwardness, I'm a bit reclusive, and on top of that I've never had any gay friends or even really interacted with the LGBTQ community before...
So I apologise for not wording things right, I mean no disrespect to anyone.

Your gender? Your sexual identity? (Preferred pronouns?)
I'm male but I spent my 20's as a woman.. thought I was trans but came to realise that I don't really have any strong feelings one way or the other, so I stopped taking the meds ...it's less hassle.

Your sexual orientation?
Attracted to whatever, If I like looking at you I don't mind what you are.

Favorite Type of Music?
I like just about everything - Pop, Dance, Reggae, Folk, Country, Opera, Extreme metal... and so on.
I suppose the only genre I don't particularly care for is "noise".

Favorite video game(s)?
Fighting / Shmups: Tekken, Dead or Alive, King of Fighters, Street Fighter, Deathsmiles, Eschatos, Batsugun, Aleste, Raiden...

What are your hobbies (other than gaming)?
Painting, Dancing, Martial Arts, Star Trek, Pro Wrestling, terrible horror movies, Collecting (Games, Dolls, Jewellery, Objet d'art).

Do any of you wear skinny jeans? How tight and fit are they supposed to be? I think I'm at a loss here... I was watching queer eye and Tan from the cast mentioned how people think skinny jeans are for skinny people but thats not necessarily true since it's all about the fit itself. I think they're too tight? I bought a size larger than normal and it's still a very tight fit or is this how it's supposed to be? Any avid skinny jean users here?

Depending on the brand I find that skinny jeans either fit way too tight and squeeze my legs or they fit okay but the waist is too large because I had to go a size or two up. I've switched to slim fit because I cannot stand a straight leg cut. I know this may not be helpful like you wanted though. FWIW, I buy all of mine at H&M. I like their jeans the most and I have the best luck with their products. I'm actually wearing some now and they're a nice balance between the two alternatives.

Examples under the cut. Please don't judge too hard lol.
