Hope it runs better on consoles than Just Cause 3 did, it some times went as low as 15-17fps (during explosions and extreme physics). Also this is a bit off topic but the always online feature which paused the game to check the online status needs to die. Overall, this is really impressive.

I really really dislike the super serious tone of the video. No it will not blow my mind its a game engine, not the key in figuring out how to reverse time.

That's nice and all but the game has very rough IQ as shown at E3. I hope they can add some temporal Anti Aliasing come December.

Man, I haven't seen Chobot in a while.

I'm looking forward to the game, but I haven't played any of the Just Cause games for more than a few hours before dropping them. I still haven't seen anything that makes me think this one would be any different.

Yeah, I agree. I'd prefer just straight up gameplay videos with a voice over explaining the changes and the video reflecting those changes, maybe some dev footage of wireframes or low frame stuff, just something like OLD Bungie Halo 3 ViDocs.

"It will LITERALLY blow your mind"

Yeah I'm out.
lol damn you. just got to that part and had to stop just to post it.

too funny.

P.S This is quite possibly the worst dev video doc i have ever seen. ridiculous editing, silly shots of developers' faces, constant flashes of random things on the screen.

they need to fire whoever made this thing.

For trying to showcase the engine and technology behind the game this video sure has... uh... not a lot of actual footage of the engine (and chaotic editing).

this was terribly done. barely showed anything and the audience of Just Cause isnt one that cares about the dark and serious atmosphere, its one that connects planes and cars, blows shit up and launches people via rockets up the bum.

Or even single digits and the game freezing to recover.

For me JC3 ended up having plenty of problems and design flaws aside from the performance on the consoles. I was very excited to play this gen's Just Cause when 3 was coming out and I've even decided to pre-order it, now I pretty much don't care considering the same guys are developing JC4.

All tell, not nearly enough show.

Hearing them wax on endlessly without explaining any details, similar to Trump's campaigning style.

If it doesn't control like shit and a frame rate that at least holds 30 most of the time, i'll be interested. Otherwise...I can't get excited after the bad taste JC3 left in my mouth.
