Maybe next year, but not within a few weeks after launch.

Breath of the Wild just went on sale for the first time during E3 along with Splatoon 2 and a few others, so they're not in the habit of putting stuff on sale quickly.

It's been around for a long time, but only within the past couple of months have Nintendo allowed pre-orders to be designated as being on sale, but before that, they just changed the MSRP and expected people to know or do a big Google search to find out if the price is a sale or not. That still happens, like in the case of Cosmic Star Heroine.
