Errr, why would GoG frame their response to this specific site? The poster you quoted was talking about the 'controvery' in general quite clearly. He wasn't asking for them to tell it to VG247 personally.

Only reason I can see GOG for making that tweet was to play up the anti establishment nature of the game and sticking it to the "soy boys"...which in itself is already a problem.
