Oh you will. The support skill that gives you overhealing is amazing.
I wish I had the JP to spare to give it to my whole party.
There is one thing that really bothers me about the map design in this game. A lot of the times the exits from areas do not match up to the cardinal directions on the map; this moreso bothers me exiting towns than in fields.
I tried a max level Bewildering Grace last night, and got fucked hard. Everyone got poisoned and muted, and Ophilia lost all her SP. I relied on healing items and soulstones to finish the fight.
How does one go about locating the secret classes? Is there a challenge instead of just walking into a temple?

Once you recruited more people and geared them, you can easily set up your first turn to have Cyrus cast a buffed, fully boosted Firaga and nuke them without even needing to break them. You'd need to give the dancer to someone else though or use Primrose.
I've found two secret class shrines just outside of towns. There is a small dungeon you go through for each, and it culminates in a majorly difficult boss battle every time.
I think there are resistances to it. I poisoned therions ch 2 boss and it barely did anything.Anyone know how poison works? Is it percentage of enemy HP or does it scale with your own stats?
I never paid much attention to it but I feel like I saw numbers that were pretty far apart.

Ah - is there a way to tell off the bat if it's a secret class shrine? I found one area that CLEARLY had somewhere for a boss battle and a save point right before it, but it was empty (this was chapter 1). Should I revisit?
You guys were right, but not in the way you probably expected lol. I just tested it, and my character with 3206 HP got 536 damage from being poisoned. That's 16.7%, so it's probably 1/6 of your total health.

I'm pretty sure bosses work differently. Late game bosses have around 100k HP so you'd deal more than 10k damage each turn for almost no investment. I mean, I'd have definitely remembered a five digit number pop up lolYou guys were right, but not in the way you probably expected lol. Poison damage might also very from enemy to enemy. I found an optional boss in an early dungeon that took well over 1000 points of poison damage every turn (over 10% of its health), while every other boss I've seen only takes 300-500.I'm pretty sure bosses work differently. Pretty sure there is a x100What's the max EXP boost you can get with Bewildering Grace? I got x5 just now, but I'm wondering if there's better. Also, I got x5 first, and then x2. Do these multipliers stack or not? I have a feeling they don't, since I was fighting in an area where enemies typically give roughly 500 exp, and I received 2500 exp at the end of the battle.
I don't want to be spoiled on this so don't tell me everything, but did anyone ever find out what that final boss music was for that none of the reviewers found? Just a simple yes or no please don't want too much info
Only a couple of hours in (Just picked up 2nd party member, Tressa).
Is there an overarching plot to the game or is it just everyone's individual quests to complete?
Geez I feel like this question is asked every single page of this thread.
Individual quests for the most part. Some party interactions in the form of "skits".
Hidden bonus dungeon at the end that ties everyone together.
Do the shrines have the same logo as the subjobs shrines?I've found two secret class shrines just outside of towns. There is a small dungeon you go through for each, and it culminates in a majorly difficult boss battle every time.

Oh there is definitely a x100.
Cyrus has a great skill called analyze that allows you to find out enemies' weaknesses. It makes him a good character to ease into the game imo.
If you don't like random encounters, Cyrus has a skill that reduces the encounter rate.
Outside of character exclusive stuff past chapter 1, I feel like if you're having a rough start, these 5 are the easiest to start with for varying reasons. Ultimately, once you have an understanding of breaks, you'll be fine. Taking out mobs with multi hit AOE breaks early on is really helpful.
- Cyrus - Magic AOE, Reduce encounter rate
- Olberic - Tanky, two physical AOE attacks
- Therion - Free loot to get stronger, can easily save scum if you want to get good carry stuff
- Alfyn - Concoct is good, his inquire in towns isn't a percentage and can lead to good stuff/quest completion, AOE axe attack that is strong af
- H'annit - Bow AOE, captures creatures to allow weakness wide breaks exploitation (limited use per monster)
It can be a pain at times. It's like Friday the 13th on NES lol
Do the shrines have the same logo as the subjobs shrines?
What happens if I miss a skit? Can't do it again? I read if you change players at the bar, you can have a new skit? I guess there are 7 skits per chapter?
Just got my first secret job, got a question.
What does Elemental Edge do from the Runelord job? I thought my english was good but that description doesn't make sense to me.
Are there images floating around of characters' subjob costumes? Only aesthetics matter when it comes to giving a character a second job.
That makes a lot of sense.I think there are resistances to it. I poisoned therions ch 2 boss and it barely did anything.
I had another duel where H'annit was poisoned and she took 20% per round.
Man I've only had one exp booster and it was a flimsy x2. Y'all calling this skill busted are just super lucky.
I've had a couple of JPY x3 but that's it.

From what I've heard the breakage is temporary at best apparently post story content is tuned challenging enough to account for a modicum of general optimization. But who knows.I can't imagine finishing the game after breaking the game that badly.
So how does the save transfer work from the demo?
I put in the full game cart in the system and it will just seemlessly see my demo save? I can then safely delete the demo?
