It appears that "true" smooth turning is NOT available on Move. Only on DS4.
You can reduce the amount of the turning and speed up the rate at which you turn on Move to get close to smooth turning, but you can't just hold the buttons down and smooth turn like you can in Arizona Sunshine when using Move controllers, for example.

Nooooo! I knew the other shoe would drop at some point...

Oh man :( I wanted to use the Move controllers but I need true smooth turning more.

Don't sell Move control short just yet. The guy from UploadVR who reviewed the game and was bummed that true smooth turning wasn't available using Move controllers said he still prefers to use the Moves over DS4.

Also, it's worth mentioning that when using Move controllers you can still turn slightly in a direction by simply looking in that direction.

The snap turning has a gradual adjustment where it can be all the way from instant to fast to slow interpolation (rotation) into the next snap angle.

I'm replicating Resident Evil 7 with fast gradual snap rotation.

OMG watched the Eurogamer stream for a bit and my god just based off of that it looks amazing in VR...I already warned my wife that her husband will basically disappear for a few days once I get this.

Also I forgot that I never actually played the dragonborne expansion where you go to Morrowind! YES!!!!
Hello darkness, my old friend! Dragonborne is fantastic.

This shit is the real deal guys.

Played for a few hours, controls take some getting used to but I'm super sensitive to motion sickness and feel fine right now; stopped at the start of bleak falls barrow.

Standout moments were seeing the moon for the first time and walking into Dragonsreach.

Happy to answer any questions.
Is it 3D? Like do the world, creatures, and people feel like they're really there?

PS: sorry for posting thrice in succession, I am so excited

Excited for this. Haven't used psvr is a while now. Thought Ultrawings would be the game to force me to jump back in, but since this came out first I'm going balls deep tomorrow night.

Motion sickness is what bothers me the most. I get sick almost in every game which not uses teleporatation (even Robot Rescue). Do you play with smooth movement?
I'll have to check but i moved it off of teleportation and just kept the default settings and had no issues.

Oh definitely, well, it's feels it. Something really fun about crouching down to look at a chicken or leaning in to get a better look at something.

I am so unbelievably jealous of everyone with a PSVR. This is almost making me regret getting my Rift during that summer sale, I had no clue at that point that fucking Sony snagged Skyrim. Devastating man...

How's the sound? There was a surround sound bug in the PS4 remaster where dialogue wasn't coming through the proper channels. Someone right in front of you could sound like they're behind you.

The bug is still the same, so channels are inverted in surround sound through a 5.1 setup.

That said, when using earplugs or headphones, my impression was that while still not completely right, it's at least much more tolerable.

Hopefully this time they'll get around to fix it, after all they're asking full price for the thing.

WTF. It's about 60% thumbs down on the video.

Wow seeing so much salt in the comments is just sad.

They are all whining about it being $60.

People are just salty that Bethesda is relasing a game on a Platform they don't own
Compare the Likes/Dislike ratio on their e3 videos that were released on the same day

Switch 10k likes / 2k dislikes
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7980ZPK8Dg

PSVR 3k likes / 4k dislikes
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8Ggl421myE

This is how people see it I guess?
Bethesda releases Skyrim on Nintendos popular new platform = Everyone loves that they can finally play one of their favorite games portability
Bethesda releases Skyrim on a niche VR platform = Bethesda is literally worse than Hitler for daring to release Skyrim on a expensive platform they don't own and VR is dead so they shouldn't release it anyway

I read that your hands are replaced with move wands when your weapons are sheathed. :(
Wow. Immersion breaking. Good grief.

Well it is timed exclusive. Maybe you can get upgraded to a Vive by then?

Nah it'll probably work on the Rift even if its listed as Vive only. The controls might not be optimal though depending on how the Vive controls are setup. Even if it doesn't work on Rift I doubt it'll take very long for someone to get it working on Rift.

It will likely be on the Rift soon enough as well. I don't see Bethesda keeping the PC games they create for VR exclusive to Vive for too long, it's likely they primarily picked the Vive first due to openVR and that it gives the easier ability to support a wider range of PC based headsets further down the line. Plus the modding community will likely have a solution quicker than an official one.

Probably only going to get round to this next year, but excited to sample such an insanely huge game and world in PSVR.

Unlikely (officially at least)! Bethesda/Zenimax and Oculus are litigated hate rivals. I often think all this Bethesda VR stuff for PSVR and Vive is part motivated purely out of spite for The Great Carmack Betrayl.

Ohh i'm bummed Amazon has $20% off on Skyrim VR only on Digital Code... except it's not digital. It's the physical version. I guess i'll pay the extra $12 for normal $60 on PSN.

Gonna try to bring my PS4+PSVR+Skyrim VR tomorrow at a friend's party

Not long now! Feel nervous and excited!!! Only VR draws those emotions from me this gen. feedback is positive all round it seems and I'll try the moves first and use the DS4 if I don't like it.

Loving my first taste of this. I'm dual-wielding a dagger and sword right now. I have to bunk for work tomorrow but the afternoon/evening/night is already set. :)
