DnD comic book? O_o Just why?
Why not ;D
Heck Star Wars got comics as early as the 80s IIRC, and that franchise had some neat comics too.
Pathfinder also has a comic series which I heard was quite good too, which I've been meaning to get around to someday.
There's also Skullkickers which is a comic inspired by Pen and Paper RPG which I've heard good stuff about too.

There have been D&D comics since the 80s, in fact the "Classics" volumes in the higher tiers are the old DC series re-collected by IDW. And that's not forgetting the dozens of books there have been including stuff like Dragonlance and the Drizzt books.

I want to get the bundle, but tbh, there are a LOT of repeats from the first one. I like Jim Zub and I loved his Pathfinder comics, but still. I own the Fell's Five stuff at least four times over by now I'd say.

I don't think there will ever be an actual D&D Humble Bundle, at least not until the end of this edition. There have been 3rd party bundles, there was one very recently. WOTC would very much like you to buy a D&D Beyond sub instead of getting the entire line for $15. I believe they did a charity bundle with the cast of Critical Role that was like 40% off the lifetime package, that's about as good as it will get for awhile.

IIRC they did have a Pathfinder book bundle which had various rulesets etc. That or another PnP franchise. I daresay I would be interested in a digital collection of DnD rulebooks or even Warhammer 40K :3

Still do give these comics a read. Tier 1 is worth 10 times its asking price ;)

Limited to 500 and they might be selling out pretty fast. Costs $99 but has a 10% off discount if you already own it on steam.

The closer you get to 4K, the better so 1440p would be the better choice. A 1070Ti should be capable of delivering 60 or close-to-60 FPS on most games at that resolution so FPS shouldn't be too much of an issue either.
I'm talking about on two different monitors. 1440p on this 4K monitor looks pretty blurry and it bugs me, but I've got a pretty good 1080p IPS monitor sitting in storage somewhere. Just trying to decide if it's worth going and digging it out.

holy hell that tempest port and the dev straight up like well you can use custom wrappers to fix this stuff

Tempest 4000 has clearly been built with consoles in mind, as its menus include zero customization options for PC players. You cannot reassign keyboard or gamepad functions. You cannot enable a d-pad on a controller (though using its arrow-key equivalent on a keyboard feels quite unoptimized, compared to the trackpad-like analog drag of an Xbox One joystick). And you cannot change a single visual option, including resolution, windowed/fullscreen/borderless modes, or v-sync.

When pressed on this lack of options, Zorzin points to custom wrappers that PC players can install for the sake of resolutions and button remapping, then adds, "I would never turn v-sync off." This might have something to do with the game's target lock for 60 frames per second, but that brings up another unfortunate issue at launch: there are issues with higher frame rate monitors. Attempts to test Tempest 4000 on a 144Hz monitor, both with variable refresh rate (VRR) enabled and disabled, led to the game clocking at a higher speed, as opposed to a higher frame rate with the same game timings.

Late 70's as I remember. There was a Marvel comic and a newspaper comic strip. Art by Al Williamson IIRC. It was quite good at the time. I do remember in an interview the artist said he would get corrected by kids if he drew the spaceships wrong i.e. all the bumps and different shapes on the underside, lol.

Just imagine if all people jump on NMS again basing their opinion on that trailer and than we have the same situation of 1.0.
It would be amazing.

I know Lords of the Fallen is supposed to be awful, but I'd actually like the GOTY version...the Sniper stuff....not so much....

Yeah, MD engine is very demanding, after some tweaking I've managed to get stable 1080p/60 on high settings, but 4K is out of the question. I have 1080ti too and I know what you mean, graphics are not the most important thing in games for me, but now I just curious to see how far I can push, always playing in 4K when it's possible.

Yeah, it feels really demanding...I think I remember reading that deferred lighting just doesn't play nicely with MSAA, so that's probably why. It's really the only thing that kills frames in the settings that I can tell, but then again with the 1080ti it's hard to tell really.

But yeah gonna spend some time trying to push it to the limit. For now, just being able to play XCOM2 without stuttering already fills me with far more joy than it probably should haha.

Final Fantasy XV and Assassin's Creed Origins. (Both of these are going to be CPU-bound for you, though.)

Oh shit had forgotten about those two, thank you!

So much complaining about Humble. It's either they have no new bundle, or when they have a new bundle it sucks.

Play games instead!

So, about that monthly challenge
601EB5CA8367A52670652E5FD3AD7D29DF6D021B

Since people were asking how long it takes to beat Gargos ass in KI, I finished the monthly challenge in one sitting in around 30 minutes on normal difficulty. Of course, it would take longer if you never played KI before, but 5-10 hours to learn gameplay basics and get some gear is realistic figures. I remember when I was trying to complete Shadow Lords on normal for the first time, I thought Gargos and mid-boss fights felt impossibly hard, but the key to victory is simple - don't mindlessly button mash, always use low block and when those bastards attack, start with light attacks and continue the combo.

I'm just glad that I'm not the only one who finished this challenge, I didn't expect that anyone would bother except me lol. I've seen some folks from here have scores in Shadow Lords mode, so I decided to post here and encourage more folks to finish, you can do it!
