Repeadetly shitting on NATO "you're not doing enough for the protection against Russia". "Yeah, I believe Putin, we've got to improve our relations"
The only way to translate this into some sort of logic is: "Better spend some money on your military, because I'm about to feed you guys to the wolves. and don't say I didn't warn you."

I'm in favor of harsher sanctions. Target all the oligarchs and work to close the loopholes. Best way to get to Putin is through his money

Mind-blowing how Trump sycophants pretend to admire and worship his "strength" and attack literally everyone for being a "cuck" (you know, any sane person who isn't a racist/islamophobe/xenophobe/sexist). Yet there can't be a bigger example of someone behaving like a "cuck" than Trump with Putin, and somehow they not only let this go, but twist it as a good thing, and manage to attack Obama for being "mean" to Russia.

What a fucked up world we live in. Obama was seen as a traitor who should be hung, for things like wearing a tan suit or being the wrong skin color. Trump isn't a traitor, for siding with Russia over the US. Yep.

Like with his view regarding the international trade, he has his own version of reality about NATO and he's not listening to what information is provided to him. He thinks the NATO countries are paying to USA. Imagine his outrage if he ever realises that's not the case.

I know that it's come up through the thread - what can we do? Well one thing I'm going to be doing this Fall (that I've never done before nor felt so compelled to do) is go door-to-door, canvassing. There's an org, Red2Blue, that hooks you up with the most competitive races near you so that your time and effort can be used in as most impactful a fashion as possible. And there's an array of actions you can help take (phone banking, canvassing, postcard writing, etc.). What can we do? Win back the House and/or the Senate. He is fully compromised by Russia. He will say and do anything to keep them from exposing this. Get used to it. It will not change until his term ends.

The root of this isn't peepee tapes. That wouldn't hurt him. Tapes with underage prostitutes wouldn't hurt him. He may even brag about it to a base that cheers him on.

The russians either have something much more dangerous on him than sex tapes, or -- and I think this is more likely -- This isn't really about what Russia has on him. This is about Trump's ego. Any acknowledgement of Russian meddling minimizes his victory. Remember how long he talked about inaugural crowd sizes? All of this is about one warped man's ego.
