Alolan Golem is the most absurd Pokemon I've yet seen in this game, never finished or even got halfway through Sun and Moon so I've never seen this form until today. But man is it the most cartoonish Pokemon.
I was blown away when I clicked on it and saw his attack animation. I never knew...Alolan Golem is the most absurd Pokemon I've yet seen in this game, never finished or even got halfway through Sun and Moon so I've never seen this form until today. But man is it the most cartoonish Pokemon.
Bonus catch candy is nice, 12 candies for pinap Swablu. Come onAltaria!!
The real benefit here is 40 candies for a Pinap on a Tyranitar or on a Machamp !
So I'm just now returning the game after it's initial release, and I'm noticing next to no Instinct players in my city. Will that put me at a huge disadvantage as a player when I start to raid? I've tried googling around and I can't find a solid answer. Considering doing a restart on a new team but not sure if it would be a waste of time. Currently Level 21, no legendaries or anything special beyond some strong IV Pokemon I like.

No big disadvantage at all - in fact some things will be easier (always a gym to battle for those quests)
It may be harder for you to get coins and you will get less balls from raids (but everyone will get extras for friendship bonuses so make sure you become friends with those in the raid group in your area).
Would kind of expect a month long August thing.Hmm. I wonder what they're gonna do between now and late August as events. There's Zapdos day, Eevee weekend, a new research reward month, and the rotation of raids to Regirock/Registeel. But it'd shock me if there wasn't a larger event in between double candy week and the Japan Safari Zone.
It's a good summary of how Eevee evolutions work in Pokemon Go now, though it's jumping the gun on how many shinies are going to be possible and ignores the possibility that community day evolutions might operate entirely differently.
For the name trick, you don't need to walk them. You only need to walk if you don't have the name trick.I was kind of wondering about it though because I don't remember walking an Eevee to evolve it into Espeon or Umbreon, or even evolving them at certain parts of the day. As far as I remember the name trick was all I needed. idk it's been so long...
They probably will if you make a reasonable case. I once asked for raid passes and lucky eggs to make up for two raids that were bogged down with technical problems, and they gave it to me.All the Google Errors today made me lose 3 Raid Passes.
Think it's worth Emailing Niantic and seeing if I could get those returned?
Absolutely. Especially if you used premium passes. You will want to make sure you list what time and what gyms you used the passes on but they're usually good at refunding those passes. All the Google Errors today made me lose 3 Raid Passes.

I just got my first EX-raid pass, lol. I'm kinda worried about people showing up for it though. Google says a team of 3 with good counters should be enough to win, but the timing of the event is not great. Tyranitar's with dark moves seem like the best counter, but all mine have smack down from the community day event. Any advice on whether that's still a good play or not? Have a bunch of Gengars too which might help.16th Mewtwo raid on deck before my 15th tomorrow.
I seriously need to consider trading some Mewtwos because they're starting to take up a lot of space in my Pokemon storage. Where's that upgrade to 2000?
I wouldn't be worried about turnout. Just plan to arrive 5-15 minutes early. At least around here, everyone is in a rush to get it done and will use that time beforehand to plan out groups. I've never seen fewer than 15 people show up.I just got my first EX-raid pass, lol. I'm kinda worried about people showing up for it though. I finally maxed my perfect Kyogre. Should I max my Mewtwo or perfect blissey next?
This new glitch with your reward encounters now going immediately into your queue and you don't get the encounter is very annoying. Is there a way to get the encounters to show without having to clear out your queue?
You wait this long for an Alolan Vulpix, then two come along in successive eggs.
Got an EX raid next week, I'm at work though. Might have to bunk off, lol
