Gotham S4 |OT| Solomon Grundy, Born On A Monday - Thursdays 8/7c

Man I completely forgot that.Wasn't he in one of the earlier seasons, had a fight with Jim.
They probably try to hide it, because we almost never see his shoes and he doesn't always wear platform shoes, but sometimes we see them briefly.
In other scenes maybe, but it doesn't seem to be the case in the mentioned scene. They are indeed the same height.
I wish I could, but I really don't remember in which episodes I saw them. Also, I have no access to those episodes if I wanted to make screengrabs.
I really wished that they would add a reference to the Gray Ghost, with Bruce being a fan and having Michael Keaton as a cameo for the role of the Ghost's actor.
If I remember correctly they were trying to get Michelle Pfeiffer to play Selina's mother? Or am I just making stuff up?

Damn! That was a great episode, gotta admit I wouldn't have been that mad if this episode served as the series finale
The finale gave me chills. It was such a great way to end an overall great season. Here are some general, random thoughts:
- I wasn't sure about Jeremiah at first, but this Joker is terrifying. While Jerome was all about chaos, Jeremiah is all about control, and Cameron Monaghan really sells the thing: notice how Jeremiah barely ever blinks, for instance.
- I loved Penguin's swerve at the end. In a show where characters change allegiances all the time in order to further their goals, the fact that he still hasn't forgiven his mother's assassination is refreshing.
- The scene with Ed and Lee was soapy as fuck and I loved it. I wonder if somehow they will now become a version of Two Face (given that they kinda ruined Harvey Dent way back), thanks to Hugo Strange's shenanigans.
- I get what they were going for with Barbara's storyline this season, but I dunno if I particularky like it. I certainly enjoyed the little speech where she blamed men for Gotham's problems, though.
- Bruce really grew this season. I know people feel like David needs to bulk up in the next few months, but I would be OK with a leaner, stealthier Batman to be honest.
- Selina is now poised to finally become Catwoman. Cool!
- The montage at the end was terrific. Gotham is finally the hell we all love, and Gordon is ready to kick some ass.
I don't know how they will wrap everything up in 13 episodes, but I'm certain it will be memorable.

As far as I know, he didn't say anything. He was just terrible and I'm personally hoping he doesn't show up.

Everyone absolutely despised him and Montoya so they were quickly written out.
Great season ending. The stab and shot count never ended. Just the right amount of violence and corny.
Ivy needed to have one of the teaser cameos. Put her in a greenhouse lair.
Killer Croc deserved to chomp on somebody too.
The kid in Mother and Orphan was Martin, right?

Finally caught up with the season finale. Had to wait for the missus to get back since we watch it together.
Absolutely awesome ending. Only think I'm still curious about is what happened to Echo. Setting the stage for real villain war hitting next season. Loved the proto-bat-signal at the end too.
Penguin shooting Butch was incredibly shocking, but made perfect sense in the end. Loved it.

At this point, it should become a running gag in Gotham, like give us a different actress at each episode in which Ivy appears next season.

Someone asked the showrunners if a time jump was in the cards for the final season. They made it sound like it was a possibility, but would probably be in the last few episodes, if not the actual finale. If they do do a time skip, they would probably just make him look older.

I believe the best way to end Gotham is by remaking this, in the very final scene of the series. Just replace Vicky with Selina or something.

Finally caught up to the show after running behind on Season 4. That was a great finale, very well done.
Good to hear there is one more season and it will be sad to see this show go. Before I started watching this show, it appeared to be a low budget attempt and I didn't think it would be worth my time. Man was I wrong.

The production quality absolutely blew me away every week.
I can't believe some of the sets and such they do for something that might be in the show for under a minute, and most of the time its not something you could randomly find around New York City.
Gotham went from "i'll watch because its Batman" in early S1 to literally one of my favorite tv series of all time by this season.
S2 was my favorite thing on tv at that time besides maybe Person of Interest.
If I ran WB/DC this entire crew would be making the next Batman movie(including actors besides Bruce and Selina).
So what are your feelings on them potentially making Selina into the FLASHPOINT version of her character?
You know, the quadriplegic Oracle? I mean it's a nice twist but kinda depressing. They could go dark and just break her emotionally.

What do you mean a proper Joker reveal? I think we've already seen as much as we will when it comes to Joker being revealed. He's been front and centre this season.
