It took them like nine months to fix a broken glass door in their refrigerated food section. How does it take that long to replace a pane of glass?
If you didn't hear about it, how would you know it exists?

I stopped believing things like this were isolated incidents when a bad businessman was elected leader of a modern day superpower by running on a platform of bigotry and xenophobia
If nobody reported on it, and it didn't spread virally, how would this guy's employer know to deal with him? How would there be any pressure on them to act? This is a monstrously stupid take. Ignoring racism does nothing but appease people like you who want to stick their head in the sand.
One thing that's important to realize. Seeing issues, and realizing your country has issues, is NOT a bad thing. That is what's happening here. Employers are seeing racist employee's, they are getting fired, the bad publicity leads to (hopefully) more screening, and it leads to more power with us, the consumers. And by seeing these issues, and realizing our country isn't perfect, it gives us a goal to work towards.
Now, if we ignore these racists, then what? I already hear some people say racism is dead, I'd probably hear more of those guys. I'm a minority in my country, if racist weren't afraid of repercussions and there actions going viral, wouldn't they attempt to be racist more often?
But not reporting this, what happens? Do you really think that in the long run there would be less hate, and less racism?
How many times have you felt racism in your daily life, have you ever been attacked for it? I know people that I'm related to who have been. I wish I had those guys on tape and I wish that went viral, why would you be against that? Verbal or physical racism is wrong, it shouldn't be ignored, it should be seen.

We already know the answer to this. This is what White America prefers and has for decades now since the Civil Rights. Things haven't really gotten much better. Look at our current government. Most White folk like myself that I know don't think racism is that big of a problem. And they would prefer to keep on thinking that way other wise they might have to give it some thought.
Oh I'm sure if this person just reported the manager, he'd get a STERN talking to (by email, or who am I kidding he wouldn't have even gotten that). These people are held accountable ONLY because it goes viral and the company has to step in.

I'm sure they've seen them, they probably empathized with the racists in those videos. That just goes to show you how racist these people are. In their mind they are doing some civic duty and purifying their communities of "problem". They're literally turning into cartoon villains who think they are saving humanity from themselves.
It was the kind of spiderweb break that looks like someone hit it really hard but didn't punch through it. It was safe provided nobody touched it, which is probably why they didn't bother to repair it for almost a year.
Then that means not at all because I don't attempt to believe that my anecdotal experiences are reflective of even a majority of the black community.
Racism has no room for logic. No room whatsoever. not to mention there are one of these every 3 days and its still happening. Its not new though. That is the tragedy.
I am just glad they are being filmed and news media takes the story seriously enough to dig into the lives of these people
it may take many more generations to get things changed but getting this shit into the light is better than ignoring it because it is an old issue

I'm actually not shocked--white people love trying to get over then criminalizing ways they got over. But in this case, the woman wasn't doing anything illegal at all so we just calling the cops 'cause no black person's life has been ruined recently enough. :/
