I approve of this, I hated the monthly ones. Completely unnecessary. Great idea!My idea is to make this the one and only thread for NA boxes, since before we had one thread for each region (JP and PAL), but NA always had monthly box threads instead.
Fatal Bullet boxart looking hot.
And yeah, the monthly threads never made much sense when we just had megathreads for other regions.
Seeing the Syberia boxart makes me sad, because it's digital exclusive in the US.
It's weird, it's also featured in the NA trailer IIRC. Surely it exists and might just be due later?
Seriously.
Is that just a re-release of Bioshock by itself? Why do that with the 3-game collection available already? Especially since that's generally been marked down to $25-30, and I doubt this release is set at $10 or something.
I can only find it listed on EB Canada so far, but it's a re-release of Bioshock: The Collection with a new toy figure and certificate for a mere... $250. https://www.ebgames.ca/PS4/Games/737921/bioshock-10th-anniversary-collection
It's way better than the JP cover and actually conveys the tone of the game.I'm not sure 'beauty' is the right word to describe this bad 3D rendered with bad depth between the characters cover. But, to each his own
It's way better than the JP cover and actually conveys the tone of the game.
The JP one is worse than this? Wow. That is more unbelievable.
Yup, NA is definitely better.
I really hate the BS censoring video game boxart has to go through in the US. Boxart for film and music can be outright explicit, but video games showing a bit of cleavage? Oh no! But fault also rests with the publishers that don't have the uncensored version printed on the reverse side.Surprised we're getting that Dragon's Crown box! I guess cleavage=bad, butt=ok?
EDIT: Went back to compare, and ALL the girls got edited in some form: dress pulled down low on fairy, sorceress' dress got pulled up around boobs more, and amazon is now wearing panties.
There is no way that the fairy was appropriate.I really hate the BS censoring video game boxart has to go through in the US. I don't know why but of all the shovel wear this is most hilarious to me. It's so damn specific.
This is......not good. I haven't really been able to get into Yakuza and that cover probably wouldn't convince me to change that.
Surprised we're getting that Dragon's Crown box! I guess cleavage=bad, butt=ok?

I don't disagree, but censorship is censorship.
Mind explaining yourself? We both have DQ avatars and I fail to see what that has to do with censorship of boxart.
You're talking about cleavage and Jessica has some of the most ridiculous damn cleavage of any video game character. With how little her top covers her breasts, we should be seeing her nipples. I love DQ, but her design was a misstep at best.I don't disagree, but censorship is censorship.
