Could it be savines-le-lac??Pity that bridge isn't the Pont Du Normandie
Or the amazing Millau Viaduct:
I must've been imagining playing around with the LSD on a car a couple of nights ago.

Idk I never played that. I saw a video about need for speed where it was loot boxes and booster cards and ads everywhere. This isn't like that.
I meant that in the sense that if you are the kind of person that dislike always online requirement you might as well just skip it.
The road layout and bridge itself are probably fictitious designed by PD, just laid over a real world landscape. No one has been able to identify that bridge even people from southern France on GTPlanet. Given how large that bridge is I'd assume it would at least be a decently known landmark in that area.
Exactly? No. Similar, sure I can give you that with the license tests and the races. But the RPG-like progression that came with direct rewards from each races and the plethora of individual parts upgrades were a core component to a lot of people that made the game's campaign/career satisfying to go through. Replacing it with a "reward for time played" exp system and rewarding cars left and right for not even winning anything, with extremely simplified "parts" upgrades is really not the same feel at all.
Didn't know if they stylised the bridges that's all. I envy you for hearing that lolNah, the bridges don't match.
We're looking for somewhere around Provence with a single-span girder arch and a square-pillared offset cable suspension bridge if the screencaps earlier are correct.
Completely off-topic, but we were at the Millau observation centre and saw a convoy of 15 Lambos and Ferraris cross over - the sound echoing around the valley was incredible.
The Shul (pronounced "shool") has reportedly been designed by Kazunori Yamauchi, the producer of the Gran Turismo video game series.
SourceThe car uses a jet turbine-electric powertrain that enables it to mix rapid, torque-heavy performance without compromising on range.
Four electric motors are each located beside a wheel to provide fully independent torque vectoring.
Vazirani's project, which has also received support from the Force India Formula 1 team, plans to begin testing its first prototype later this year.
There's a GT PSP track that it's reminding me of really closely, but I can't remember the name. And I can't remember if it was specific to PSP, either. I doubt it, but it's been a while.
Very close. There is tons to do in campaign mode. Golds will keep anyone normal busy for months.
Collecting other people's liveries is one of my favourite pastimes with the game. I currently use a Keiichi Tsuchiya 'Drift King' suit and it does help the immersion. Not essential, but I'm all for customisation. That's what I really miss from older GT's.Gotta say that suit designs are the last thing I'm looking for in a racing game. But cheers to those that want them. We barely even see the driver as it is, so maybe they'll alow them in Scapes or something.
not happeningSeems like a pretty big update! I'm very close to having some hope for VR to be added.. what is in currently is just a tech demo.
– A race weekend mode. Practice (with opponents), qualifying (with opponents) and race with a more sim-like approach to participation and time of day progression like you would actually have.
This game doesn't get the credit it deserves. Easily my favorite racing game to come out in maybe a decade if not longer. Everything feels perfect to me (menus, driving physics, wheel feedback, online, etc), and the amount of free updates has been insane!
Sport launched with less content than any recent GT game. If it didn't get this kind of support it would have been hugely disappointing.Very nice.
So in addition to cars and tracks they are also adding new features to the game. For free. I wasn't expecting the support for the game to be this good.
I'd put a decent tyre model way ahead of these. Some things I'd like to see if it is a larger update.
– A decent clutch pedal simulation, even just a basic approximation would be better than what it currently is and the ability to use flappys with a clutch, not just a H-pattern.
– Pedal options.
– Improved road feedback with a wheel. (look at AC with FFBClip).
– Options in VR such as position and whether to display the HUD or not.
– Better AI in VR and the ability to set parameters like how many laps in the race mode. (ideally more opponents and online).
– Allow us to unlock all cars if we want. buying cars isn't tied to anything meaningful and a just an arbitrary grind that hinders the enjoyment of the game for those who don't have infinite free time and would like to spend that time doing something enjoyable. The ability to have multiple setups (tuning or livery) makes the garage system pointless anyway. If not at least give something to make millions very quickly.
– A race weekend mode. Practice (with opponents), qualifying (with opponents) and race with a more sim-like approach to participation and time of day progression like you would actually have.
– A 'factory' car settings option that sets the assists to what the car would have in real life.
– A weekly event in sport mode that was like the first week of the product's launch but with a minimum of 6 laps.
That's good to know. If my car had tyres like GTS I'd ask for a refund. ;)I left that off as I thought that would be a standard request thus not worth mentioning, plus they keep altering it so something we know they are looking at.
In the months I've played the game the save issue has come up exactly two times. Even then I just suspended the game and loaded it back up to save. It's such a shame because PD are supporting the game so well but until they allow us to save offline I won't buy the game, I'm not doing an endurance race to have it not count.
They're already released.Still waiting for SPA, Silverstone , Laguna Seca and weather effects.
