This is a very good co-op game with reasonable price and it's been on sale couple of times already. I can recommend it if you like couch co-op. And it can be played quite good by yourself also. Just not with as much of laughter and cursing.

I think it is awesome pr. I bet a lot of people who haven't heard about the game are checking it out right now.
I'm shocked this game only sold 52,000 copies. It always seems prominent on the store, has a demo, and has been in a few sales. The demo must suck!

If I recall these devs seem cool. I remember them making a post of Reddit letting people know that the game was going to be on sale the coming weekend, so if anybody was thinking if buying it in the meantime they should wait a few days first

You guys realize the game has been out for a year and has sold about 52k, right? The potential sales lost from hypothetical people who were waiting for a price drop and will now instead wait for it to sell 250k (which it never will, but let's even assume they don't know that) is far more than offset by the free advertising this move is generating them. Visibility is an indie's game lifeblood. I mean, how many of you even knew of the game before this?
Never heard of the game until today. I watched a video and it looks really fun for two players. I might buy it.

I get what you're saying, but the publicity is actively encouraging people not to buy it. We'll never know how much this did or didn't impact sales, but it's easy to imagine increased sales through increased exposure being balanced to some extent by people deciding to wait it out to see if they hit 250k.
Funny how they say this just before the Xbox version is included for free with Games with Gold. Then you throw in the anniversary sales update remarking how well the Switch version has sold to date, and we can't even get a celebratory discount on the eShop for it.
