I'm well past the point of caring about Team Rocket anymore but this is at least good to hear.
Though they'll probably be piss easy too.
I know it was likely they'd make it in because of Yellow but I still breathed a sigh of relief when they were revealed yesterday. Never know with Game Freak. lol

4 battles? they didn't really do much of anything originally. What is different is that Meowth is outside of the pokeball in this game I guess.
Just dont expect him to talk like in the anime :)
Anime made me feel accepting for the proportions. If all characters are planned to have emotes or facial animations, a larger head is needed to emphasize the emotions to the players. Kind of like Pixar movies.

Everytime you run into team rocket, they should do their song and spiel in an unskippble, button prompt cut scene like Splatoon's Marina and Pearl.

Jessie looks really weird, her proportions are all off. Her legs are too small but her hips are too big, the chest needs to be bigger and her face/neck also is a bit weird, Everyone else looks fine in their chibi like form including other girl characters, I don't know why they got her so wrong.
I would like it if they had a bigger role in the game than they did in Yellow. Yellow was based off Red/Blue so they couldn't really add much story other than having them appear as random players but here they could totally do more but I'm guessing they wont.

I've already stated how this will be my 1st real Pokémon RPG. What's awesome is even though I never really palyed the game, I loved the hell out of the cartoons. I know ASh, Misty Brock, Professor Oak, Gary all the nurses and cop sisters. Great Cartoon :)
I was sort of hoping that they might go out of their way to differentiate this Team Rocket from their anime counterparts by giving them Yellow accurate hair color (both red) and maybe giving them the standard black Rocket uniforms, too.
But that was always unlikely wishful thinking and I'm excited to have them anyway. I think they look good.

Looks like the best Pokemon spin off yet by a mile. I mean obviously it's not a mainline (or replace mainline with core, lol, whatever, they're differentiating them pretty explicitly so, you know) game so dunno why some people are judging it like one saying it lacks this or that feature. But they can probably spawn an all new series out of it (or not if the intent is to get people to get in the mainline series). I wonder if the Pokeball controller can be compatible with the next main game too, that would be neat, even if it doesn't have the same catching mechanics, just throwing it and having your Pokemon sounds in it would be enough function.

They look adorable. I'm really liking the artstyle and graphics of the game, it's definitely the best looking Pokémon for me which in the past was Sun and Moon

Googling around, I dont have a verifiable source for this yet, but I read that this new Red equivalent character's name is Chase, Femme Red's name is Elaine and the rival's name is Trace. Proper names now, no more version color names for these interpretations.
The prompt probably means switching between the pikachu and the player.
