Hello everyone,

we finally got our own Conan Exiles server up and running, with active players from EU and US.
(Reminder: This is for the PC version!)

Initially we had a vote for the servers region. Since we got one for free, we use that. Surprisingly players from the US have no difficulties with playing on a EU server. As long as it runs without problems, we rather consider upgrading slots before creating another server.

  • Please feel free to make any suggestions.
  • We need community stewards to help form the rules and help the community as server mods.
  • Due to the nature of how sandbox survival games work, it can be frustrating for individual players who just want to play somewhat peacefully, while others enjoy to crush their heads. So we try to find a balance. It will affect the game rules, but also define an "etiquette".
  • Currently playing PVE-Conflict mode: PVP enabled, no destruction of buildings by players.

Conan Exiles is an open world survival game set in the lands of Conan the Barbarian. Survive in a savage world, build a home and a kingdom, and dominate your enemies in epic warfare.

Huh, might be interested in this. Me and my friend have put plenty of hours in an official server but between the constant downtimes and server lag, if your server could negate all of that and provide a much more stable experience... Might be worth looking into.

If there was such a server I would certainly give it an honest chance. But the chance of me really sticking with the game are rather low, that much I do know about me.

I'd prefer a US based server but if the larger userbase would benefit from the EU, that's fine too.

I managed a server once for the old forums, provided free by a nice community member. Not sure if he's around still because I am sure he would also provide one again :)

Ok folks, it's looking really good. Thank you derFeef, who provided a 20 slot server located in EU (Germany). I'm currently configuring the server settings.
Please feel free to make suggestions for settings/mods/etc.

I've been playing with a friend on a PVP server that's been mostly tame, but we've built up to T3 and we expect the super clan on the server to wipe us pretty much any time now like they do with everyone else once they start getting too big. If that happens, I might be interested in playing with you guys.

Server is shut down currently, due to some problems which i encountered after playing for a while (quests not updating correctly, sometimes invincible animals). Problems which never occured on other private servers. Unfortunately log files provide no info and access to the databse tool is not possible. I might setup a new server tomorrow where i have full control.

Server is UP again.

Apparently files had the wrong owner. I asked the support and they fixed it promptly.

Jumped on the server earlier and played for a few hours. After leaving the spawn area I followed the rivers north to the place I wanted to set up camp. After some time I was able to build the base structure.

It's pretty spartan on the inside and out, but plenty of room to expand upon.

Other than that met the neighbor and built an elevator.

Server runs good even though I'm eastern US and the server is in the EU

Here's a tip for all beginners:
- After going through the desert and arriving at the big river, don't settle there. Only do the basic tasks for XP: build a small house, get a weapon and then move north. There is NO iron on the big river and you really need that!
- i couldn't find any iron until i reached like the middle of the map. (looks like dry area/savannah, thin rivers go through it)
- for a building spot, check for Water! and look for iron in the surround area. and other stuff you need (wood, stone, food)

I suspected that might be the case, I've only received about 4 iron ore for all thousands of stones. I'm going to make some tougher armor and then head out.

wow this games is pretty fun. Got my copy for 12 bux as well!

At first I was dying to EVERYTHING. Then I realized I had to learn crafting feats through a skill tree like system lol! I was trying to kill people with a stone axe doing 1 dmg!!! Game runs like a charm!

My only server related complaint is that nights go by too fast. I think 8x nights are bit too short. I actually like the nights :)

Nights suck. Most survival game servers do this. Primarily because there is a console command to change gamma in most survival games and most people just abuse that, so most servers just make nights shorter anyways.

ahh ok cool. Didnt know that.

Also, Im making a friggin tree house. But it seems there is some sort of pillar support system to this game. You cant just through support on the side of a tree to easily. Interesting....

Unfortunately you can't have them back :') but you can have 100 Iron Bars from my personal stash.

I'm not gonna use admin privileges for minor incidents like this. Lets imagine that rockhorse got stuck in your base and destroyed a large amount of it (because it bugged hard, not sure if thats even possible) where you spent days of work. Then i would definitely help!
In case of weird bugs take a screenshot. I'm not sure the game logs provide insight in anything you did.

Dying and losing all your stuff cause your body fell thru world tends to happen sometimes. Welcome to survival games. The good thing is you can get those bars back yourself really fast. Farming iron where you're at is easy
