It's somewhat pleasing to see even Sherdog admitting Jones is no longer relevant in MMA and that DC is the real deal. I always loved DC and it shouldn't have taken all this to finally get the fans on his side. He should be remembered as a titan of the sport.

I wonder how many of the fighters they had signing that wall.. I guess 3 or 4 rows is enough room, since all the fighters weren't there.

I don't care how scared he was, in that third round, Lewis was wincing in pain every time he moved, if you want to be a feared fighter, the UFC's Mike Tyson, you go after the injured prey; and his corner should've been telling him that.
All of the mystique and fear factor has been completely removed from Francis in his last two fights. No one is going to be scared of him now and in a pretty shallow division he can't hang with DC, Stipe, Volkov, Blaydes or even Derrick fucking Lewis.

Francis needs a completely new camp. Every single person that was in his corner needs to be fired and he probably needs to see a fight psychologist.

I don't think anyone saw this fight being as boring as it was and playing out that way but I saw a few people doubting Francis' ability to bounce back with a win against Derrick. Without the injury, Derrick is no joke or easy fight.
Maybe after the Stipe loss, Dana should've gone back to feeding cans to Francis for another couple of fights while he improves his ground game and cardio.
The guy is a joke now.
I think Derrick is an easy fight.
Dude was flatlined by Matt Mitrione. Has a worse gas tank than Ngannou. And horrible recurring back problems that you can probably flare up by clinching him. Just has great KO ability.
He is not very good. Charismatic, yes, but not someone anyone considers a good fighter.

He doesn't have any big names on his record but he's 9-2 since that loss to Mitrione in 2014.
I think him doing well is indicative of the poor state of the UFC Heavyweight division.
He is an incomplete fighter with glaring flaws.
He does need a new camp, but I'd be surprised if he makes the move. His coach is the guy who took him off the streets and gave him a place to stay/food to eat when he was homeless. I got a feeling he'll never leave that gym due to the sense of loyalty he probably feels.
I tuned out when they started rambling about all the ways USADA can be unfair to fighters and then extended that into a Jon Jones defense. Miss me with that shit.

Watch the fight again, everytime Derrick goes foward or throws something Francis backs up with a look on his face like he's seen a ghost. He's so fucking scared, he needs a new camp and someone to talk to.

Listen to whatever you want. I feel his podcasts are great in general and he has an interesting mixture of personalities on there. One of the few podcasts I can stand to be honest. I love some NDT as well.

Malki Kawa was on Helwani's show and said that Yoel is moving up to LHW. I guess he won't miss weight anymore if it's true and because of how trash that division is, he could conceivably be a Champion there.
