What will happend to Truman after the movies ?

My wife's most desire movie sequel is one where he gets acclimated to living back in society.

No money, no life experience, no friends, no family. He probably died in the street a couple weeks later.

He was so popular he'd make tons of money telling his story. He could also sue for all the money they've made using him without his consent.

I don't think they ever wanted him to get out. He would have died in the dome.

He discovered the internet and has never been seen again.

He's a reclusive artist now.

He probably killed himself after realising there was no possible way he would ever lead anything close to a normal life. Everyone has watched him his whole life.

He kills himself from the embarrassment of knowing that clearing his browser history and using private mode was absolutely pointless.

Are we assuming it took place in the current era or when the movie was actually released?

He would sell the movie rights, play himself in the movie, write a book about his life, write a book about the making of the movie about his life, do the talk show circuit, bang a few starlets and retire to the French Riviera after the glitz and glammed corrupted him.

All in all I think he would be just fine.

I always thought he would escape, go through the door, only to find he is still part of the show and it was just a ratings thing. Or that Truman played everyone and just dragged it out to get revenge.

what kind of world is the outside world anyway? We get scenes with TV viewers that paints it as normal, but I wonder if those were added in after the fact because of how inconsistent it is with the passage of time compared to Truman's world.

There are two Direct-to-DVD sequels. One follows Truman, now played by Stephen Baldwin, the other is about another guy that is in the same situation.

That's funny, watched it on netflix a day ago to pass time and was thinking the same thing.

The lady was running to him and dude was famous af so getting the girl and money wasn't going to be an issue. I assume he would still have ton of paranoia and would need some deep therapy for awhile.

Any other person would probably go mentally insane and wouldn't trust a single thing/person.

He'll have the opportunity to lead a normal life.

I mean he was the most famous person in the world, so he'd probably be okay.

Truman walks out to find himself in the real world... only to find out 20 years later that there was another bigger dome around the original one and he was still on the show.

He was the world's most fanous reality tv star. He probably became president.

Probably top himself eventually.

He then went to law school so he could sue the crap out of that tv station. Eventually got a kid who put a curse on him for neglecting him.
