Played it to death on the Wii U, but I want the 3DS version for it's 3D visuals and added content.
Gonna wait it out for Black Friday sales though.

This is the one.I think he means posters assuming the worst (lowered resolution) when it's something else (haze effect) is an "era" thing
he's not wrong
I'm looking forward to homebrewers seeing if the levels are still on the cart just locked away. I need them :D
Pro Controller works, and will move the pointer around like normal thanks to the gyro. It might be a little weird to get used to but I had no issue with the demo. Can you use the pro controller? I might have read that it was joy con only, but not sure.

Glad to hear both versions turned out well! Was impressed by the demo on both systems.
Though err there may have been an oversight:
Oops D:
the amiibo animation was designed with the wii u gamepad in mind. the nfc reader is on the left on the gamepad

Think I'm going to hold off on this. I still have Hollow Knight, Lumines, and DKTF to beat. Wasn't a fan of the cursor in the demo and based off the reviews, that's not going away or becoming optional in the full game.
That's the Wii U game.
Ah, you're right. They're adding reviews for 3DS and Switch version to this page though. That's for the Wii U version, but the Switch version will be around the same score anyways.

The animation of the bouncing light coming from the bottom left is a holdover from the NFC sensor's placement on the Wii U gamepad
EDIT: D'oh, beaten!
On the screen the scanning area is originating from where it used to be scanned on Wii U (I.e to the left where the NFC scanner was on the Gamepad) as opposed to what actually happened on the right Joy-Con.
At least that's what I think it is.
Edit: beaten as well.
Probably was an oversight and caught during QA but it's not worth making a new animation for. Not a big deal.
Haha nice!

I had a mini panic attack when I went back to GAF and realized that thread was from 2015. If anyone had asked me I swear I'd say 2017.
So unsure what to do. I loved the Wii U version but not sure how I feel about buying it again. I know there are new levels but they are removing levels too. Worse part, it won't go on sale cause it is Nintendo.
That being said, I am letting everyone else know they should get it. I didn't expect bad reviews.
