Man never had an issue with Bottleneck but I am still waiting on my Raid71 12 Monkey's print. Did anyone else get that? At the very least they should give you a window on when it'll be printed.

Managed to PB two.

Not a Jaws guy personally, but it is a pretty cool recreation of the original one sheet. Especially with how they brought on multiple artists to do it.

At some point I will trade for the Art Print, hopefully.*

Unless flippers start getting their $1300 asking price on the Bay.

*Who am I kidding. No one trades prints.

Well that was a weird drop.

I was refreshing pretty consistently, saw the tweet come through, kept refreshing and random different items would pop up, finally the OG showed up, then the art print. Added the art print to cart, got placed in some sort of line for a few seconds, and somehow managed to get one.

I really wouldn't be surprised if I got an oversold email or something. I thought I was on the slow side honestly.

I was refreshing and saw nothing, then the tweet came in, then they popped up a few seconds later, had to wait in a queue to checkout and got the sold out. Congrats to anyone who scored. Tough drop.

Apparently they were up on the posters page first, I have no idea if that's true or not though.

Also the fb/twitter comments are amazing as usual. Do people really not know how supply and demand works? Even if there was no such thing as a bot you have thousands up thousands of people trying for ~500 prints. Most of these dudes would fail regardless.

My favorite are the people that are like "I added to cart, then typed in my password, then went to paypal, and when it went back to the Mondo site SOLD OUT WTF I CHECKED OUT IN 60 SECONDS"

It's the best.

I tried to get one to sell to Rinn for $1300, but entered the wrong CVV number.

There will be more Jaws prints in the future, especially ones not featuring a shark, so look forward to that!

It's a classic poster for a big movie. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It got me thinking though, are there any other classic posters people would dig becoming screenprints?

Saul Bass is the obvious, easy answer. Those are just screaming for screen prints. If I remember correctly, I think some company is actually doing this, but they cost literally thousands.

Empire Strikes Back (the one with Han and Leia in the middle), Blade Runner, The Good The Bad & The Ugly, Harakiri.

ESB is pretty obvious, guessing it's been done before at some point.

this might be upsetting to some, but has anyone done this (or seen it) where you put 2 smaller prints into a larger frame with no divider or anything?

My wife has both of the kevin tong last of us prints, and wants to frame them together in a 24x36 frame instead of 2 individual 18x24 frames.

They do fit in it, but i just haven't seen anyone do anything like that

Won't the prints overlap in a 24x36 frame?
And no, I've never seen anyone done something like that.

They're both 18x24, so they definitely wouldn't fit in a standard 24x36. I've seen it done a bunch, and I've never really liked it, but if done well, I'm sure it can look good. Also, not sure how they'd look without their own matting separating the pieces slightly.

Random time is usually between 11:30 and 12:15 ET. Every so often they switch it up, but it's been a while.

Whoops, forgot to even check back here and didn't see this until now. I probably could've taken an hour or so lunch break and gone after it. Guess I'll start saving up for the art print on the secondary market *sigh*.

Anyone have a line on a commission done by Ben Terdik for Smokey and the Bandit? Having a hard time finding any info on it.

Keep this on the downlow please - we have a bunch of non-payers in the Stan and Vince House of Wax commission, let me know if you want to get in as soon as he clears out the non-payers by Tuesday. Please DO NOT post this around, thanks. See spoiler for image.

Hey mate, I'm actually in the commission group that came from. And they have some open spots I think - try throwing a join request at this https://www.facebook.com/groups/1436823823217662/?ref=nf_target&fref=nf

Honestly the most interesting commission group I've come across on FB. The guy who runs it does a really god job with organization and shipping and chooses a lot of cools films that you wouldn't expect to get prints.

Awesome, thanks! I love me some Smokey and the Bandit, and after seeing the print last night it made me re-watch the film last night :). So much fun.

Yeah, it's fantastic. Also, I believe the group leader has more Burt Reynolds movies planned.

Also, saw your post in there, seems like they picked up a few new people to meet the 30 count in the Smokey group, my bad. Last I saw they only had like 26 people in there. Sounds like Ben will have AP's for sale, though.

Yeah, I subscribed to his group so hopefully I'll get one that way. They are talking about doing a Hooper print, which is exciting. :) Thanks for the heads-up!

Finally opened my Kilian tube for the Abandoned City or whatever the last print was called. Man Static do a really good job of shipping their tubes. Tissue paper, butcher paper, and the whole thing wrapped in plastic. Probably the best I've seen outside of just shipping flat.

Pretty dope. Detail is really good on the upper half. I got those weird Automata prints too from the UK. Those actually look really good in person too. Super clean lines and great colors. Still not sure if any of his stuff actually works in my house though so I'm just sitting on it for now. Right now I'm more concerned with getting my James Jean stuff framed and hung.

There is a part of me that wants to start buying toys now that I have space on bookshelves but the whole point of purging books and CD's and movies was to separate myself from the hording.

I actually like both for different reasons. I like that the Danger is suited to what he does best with the aging theater being the biggest part of the image where the James Jean focuses on the characters which is usually what I like about his work the most.

EDIT: First sun tarot spotted on Facebook. 1291 was the run which is massive for a non licensed timed run. Still super excited for it.

I assume it's being shipped by number. The one I saw on Facebook was in the 80's. I imagine they are shipping this week and next with how many they have to ship.
