The raps were amazing and all but was I the only one that found Kyle's lyrics alarming? Talking about being alone in your death bed isn't normal & I hope he's OK. Depression is no joke.
It's not uncommon in tone or theme for Kyle, but not less alarming yes. I've been writing him an email in my head for years where I find words eloquent enough to make Kyle Bosman proud of Kyle Bosman, unleashing more Kyle on the world, finding the road to Bosman Happiness and so on. It's so hard to communicate to a person you're a fan of the degree of care you have for them and the worry these lines spur.
I can see the concern. On the other hand though, it's just soo like Kyle to mix in some dark subject matter with something as far away from it as nutrition.
Either way, I always hope he (and all the others) are okay mentally, and emotionally.

The Group Stream Selection Post is up for Patrons. It's a tournament week so I submitted my Yakuza 0 VS Minigame proposal again.
I manages to get Mario Strikers Charged in there stupid early and it's popular so it should make the ballot. Guessing DDR will run away with it if they can rustle up two mats though.

Don, Blood and Kyle did an amazing Job. I'd put Blood as a winner if it was a contest, since he was using the same beat of the DK rap.
Easily my favorite series as well. I would also highly recommend the group stream from this Tuesday (Mario odyssey) it's a great introduction to the whole team. They make a sonic character, do some raps about nutrition and finally have a challenge where they play the different mini games in Mario odyssey. There are major spoilers for odyssey though.
Damiani mentioned recording Skyrim footage recently so there's a good bet that might appear for a video.

Just listened to Frame Trap, I agree with Huber on the response to people who are offended by things. It just makes me curious about an opportunity to learn a new perspective. I'm not sure why people get so offended as a response to someone being offended (which maybe is another thing to learn about :P)
Great idea, since I recently god a Switch I'm very interested in seeing how these games perform on it. Hopefully this will bring them a lot of views too.
It's a shame that the Rime port turned out so bad. I kind of saw it coming, since it has some framerate issues and bugs on PS4 (the base model, anyway). I agree with Damiani that the game is worth playing, so I would recommend playing it on another platform too.
Generally, I agree with Huber, and err on the side of accepting that if people have taken offense to something, their feelings on the matter are valid.
With that said, in the context of the Last of Us trailer - I do think it's all a bit overblown.
I mean, the trailer is literally getting criticised for its depiction of violence against women. Am I wrong in thinking that nothing shown in the trailer really relates to the real life issue our society is currently struggling to deal with? It wasn't making light of or celebrating inflicting violence against women. It was simply showing an act of violence against a woman. Is that really something that we should be censoring? Would anyone have batted an eye if the trailer featured the exact same content, but with men instead of women? I...honestly don't think so. I also don't think anything we saw is at odds with what we already knew of the world of The Last of Us from the first game, so the idea that people are shocked by the tone and graphic nature is pretty surprising to me.
I think the anger you're referring to is born out of fear that companies and the like will take this reaction to heart, and refrain from tackling things like this in the future out of fear of potential backlash.
