LOL!

Well now it's definitely not for me. Not into min and max games.

I bought the three Arland games on Vita. I haven't touched a single one lol. I'll buy them again on PS4 and Switch hoping to play them one day.

The first Rorona game was the last birthday present my mom ever gave me so it hold a special place in my heart. Played it to completion and loved it. Rorona + was even better. I can't wait to play it a third time.

We did unfortunately never gotten the 3DS version localized.

I haven't played any of these games since Atelier Iris on PS2, which I remember being just okay. Are the new ones better? Is there one in particular that's leagues better than the others?
Escha and Logy is maybe the best JRPG of last generation for me. Or at least definitely up there.

Not part of this collection though / only available on PS3 (and the plus version on Vita).

I like Totori but I just could never get into Rorona or... third girl who's name literally escapes me. There is definitely a huge jump in gameplay mechanics between the three as they were trying to perfect their RPG formula while releasing yearly.

I need to get back into this series at some point as I did deeply enjoy them, and may do so even more now that the timer is gone.

Best trilogy. I never played Rorona+ but the first version was pretty good too. And then Totori and Meruru are just amazing.

Now I remembered that I've had the trilogy on the Vita for years now, only having beaten half of Rorona.

Gotta get back to it at some point.

NICE

I tried playing these on the Vita, but I kept getting confused on which order, which games were part of each trilogy, etc. Looking forward to trying them on the Switch.

Would be interested in upgrading to the PS4 versions but I have the collection on PS3 (all 3 games on one disc) so I also don't really want to pay a fortune for each game individually, which it looks like this is.

I hope we get the dusk trilogy as well.

Im just missing Ayesha on Vita (which hasn't been discounted for two years), happy to buy it on another platform.

I think $40 for one game is way too expensive though, maybe it'll get discounted later. Should have been $60 for all three on one disc/cart. I'm guessing all three games don't fit on one switch cart, so they just decided to have seperate releases. Still why release all three on the one day? Should have staggered them one or two months apart. Guess fans will lap it up and its free money for KT.

Will be more than happy to play through Totori again. I really liked that one.

That's almost same for me. I really liked Totori. Was the first Atelier game I played and platinum. Then got the other two games. Got about half way through meruru and little to no progress on Rorona. Not sure why they didn't hold my interest like Totori did. I'm gonna be more than happy to give them another go though.

Might give this series another try if it heads west. It's a series I REALLY want to like, but just end up really bored 10-15 hours in.

As odd as it sounds since they are all pretty childish, I think Totori was the most mature and had the most interesting story of the three. I mean, it's still obvious moe bait but overall it just felt more engaging.

This is a brilliant pun that I will not let go unnoticed.

Totori was the first game I ever platinumed on PS3. The story was just so engaging I needed to see everything it had to offer. It was definitely more mature, but not in the ESRB sense of the word; it just dealt with more meaningful themes about family, and how people try to find their places in the world. Like,
I felt so bad for Cecelia who gave up on her adventuring dreams to assume the mother role in her family for Totori's sake, and how she has mixed feelings about Totori then growing up to become an adventurer herself.
It's little personal subtle things like that that drew me into its story, despite it not being an "epic" or anything. I just fell in love with its characters. Well except Gino. I never cared for him.
