But there is another new area that Good Shepherd intends to explore, which crosses over with its triple-I ambitions. According to Hanraets, the company has access to "some really nice IP, movie IP", which it will pair with experienced indie developers with the right pitches.
Good Shepherd isn't ready to reveal actually which or how many IPs it has secured, or how many, but Hanraets can reveal that Mike Bithell, the creator of Thomas Was Alone and Subsurface Circular, will be the first developer to work on a game under this new initiative.

The creator of Thomas was Alone and Subsurcface Games working on a III-Hollywood adaption. Huh.

His games are great, very much a fan of his style, but i honestly can't see this working out? Sounds very buzzwordy.

Good for Bithell, well deserved.

It's more than a little weird how we're calling film adaptations with a moderate budget and a publisher "indie."

Why is everybody here acting like calling a game "Triple I" is normal?

It's the first time I am hearing that term and it sounds very buzzwordy.

I feel this could be a decent way to bring back movie lincensed games in a non-terrible way.

It is a buzzword obviously (playing off 'AAA') but I've seen it a couple of times before, Ninja Theory used it when talking about Hellblade.

Another thing to sand my vagina.
Videogame marketing is fucking garbage gawd. HATE IT!

Interested to see what is coming though.

It should me noted that Good Shepard games acts like a subsidiary of Devolver Digital. It was funded by the same team working at Devolver Digital, aiming to release games funded through small private investors.

Back in 2013 I made a thread warning everyone about the new emerging buzzword Triple-I.

These days, it's finally becoming all the rage.
