I don't think it's fair to shit on Elon Musk. He tried to do something in case things didn't work out. Remember that it was a race against the clock because of there being chance there would more rain

So glad they're all safe and that this didn't occur here in the US. Otherwise, orange Napoleon would be seizing all credit for the rescue.

Fuck yeah. All credit to the rescue team, they pulled off what so many of us though would be impossible.

Brilliant news, AMAZING work by everyone involved!

Sad that one diver had to die, but overall this had an incredibly happy ending. This went far better than I dared to hope.

Now let's just hope the remaining divers and doctor make it out safely, but I don't see why they wouldn't.

Hell yea.. well done to everyone involved. They sure did work fast once they had the window. Much better than the maybe 4 months they originally threw out there.

RIP to the brave diver... sucks so much someone passed but it was for a great cause.

I've been doing my best to follow this but waking up to see that everyone has been rescued is great news! So happy to see that after how grim things looked. Hopefully they all are able to eat lots of yummy foods and rest and that the mental trauma from this experience will be minimal. R.I.P to the brave hero diver who gave his life trying to rescue them too.

Great news! all people involved did an amazing job.

This was almost a perfect story, too bad the sergeant died but he went like a hero, hope they do the honors for him.

Awesome! Great job by the thai navy seals and the volunteers!
I hope the kids and the coach get to meet the King. They deserve a heroes welcome!

I wonder how long they will have to recuperate in the hospital. How long does it take for their eyes to adjust?

So happy they're all out after that nightmare scenario. Much respect to all involved and the one diver who lost his life to help make it all possible.

Finally some good news that everyone can agree on. Really sad about the diver who died, at least he went out doing something heroic though. Expecting a movie by Summer 2020

RIP to the guy who died fitting the air canisters to help the kids survive. Thanks to his and others actions we are now looking at victory instead of tragedy.

Glad to see them all out alive and as well as can be given the circumstances. Only wish we would be able to see them make it to the cup final, but recovery and duty of care rightfully take priority.

The cave will be imploded, right? We can't risk anyone else going down there again. And RIP to the brave SEAL that died last week.
