I would take the original GT tracks over real world tracks at this point.

I still want a Cyberpunk city type track but will settle for some of the tracks from the old games. Can't believe this is still free.

I'd take the Singapore Street Circuit from the Singapore GP and be completely happy with that. Love these updates, this game has me coming back regularly. Not sure if we'll ever see another full sized GT but I've been quite happy with this for a while now.

This game needs new online modes. Sport mode is too "hardcore" for my tastes. Having to qualify and wait till a event starts is just too time consuming.

My dream is to have a quick match making mode with some general rules and course voting in the lobby hope this comes soon.

I know there are lobbies. But it's not the same thing obviously.

Grand Canyon, Deep Forest !!!

Deep Forest is coming

When we caught up with Kazunori Yamauchi recently, we were able to put the question to him of exactly what happened to these iconic fictional circuits. Will we ever see the holy trinity of Grand Valley, Deep Forest, and Trial Mountain again?

Thankfully, Yamauchi confirms that it wasn't a conscious uncoupling. "There was no particular reason for it," he explains. "We are already working on Deep Forest; we actually have the data for Deep Forest that runs on Gran Turismo Sport but it does have some problems."

He adds: "The problem that we had with some of the older tracks from previous Gran Turismo games was the scale being off in certain places. The size of the trees are very large, or the width of the curbstones, etc. There were curbstones that were wider than cars!

"If we want to bring that into the quality of GT Sport now, there is a lot that we have to redesign, and it is not that easy."

I'm going to throw my hat in the ring and say we're getting a redesigned Grand Valley Speedway.

Concerning the rain and legendary tracks like GV, TM and so on, I think it's rather obvious by now that PD is keeping their powder dry for the next installment of the series.

It's coming although we don't have an exact time frame. Kaz said that the cars are already coded to take into account rain, so it's just a matter of implementing weather on various tracks.

I figured they had all things set because I was playing one of the dirt tracks and I think it says Dirt/Snow, but no snow. This is cool to know they're doing this thanks.

YES, that's perfect, night tracks especially city ones would be great, I'm surprised they don't have more to show off HDR.
Same for me, I haven't played a GT game as much as Sport.

Main reason I've not bought this game is the lack of tracks, especially the older classic ones. Every time I see a thread with an update, I check in anticipation...

There was a new tyre model used at the Nurburgring FIA event and Kaz apparently told players a weather update is coming. It would make sense to only introduce weather after the new tyre model.

As for the track, I've seen two decent theories it could be Grand Valley or Sierra, which I've never driven myself. It's basically a 16 mile closed road. Something akin to the Isle of Man TT circuit.

I'd love for it to be Sierra. ;_;

I recently got the opportunity to create a teaser for India's First Hypercar made by @vazirani_automotive.

More about the car: Shul (pronounced "Shool"), is an aerodynamically enhanced elegant design paired with a Micro Jet Turbine Electric powertrain to deliver a spiritual automotive experience of restrained power, eternal beauty and quiet eminence. #hypercar #supercar #india #vazirani #automotive #shul #teaser #granturismo #gt #inspiregt

People were way off about its location. I don't think anyone was even speculating about it being in France. It seemed like the general frame of thought was that it was in Croatia.

France? Hopefully it's better than the Alsace track

For those who missed it, here's the rain tease from the Honda VGT trailer:

I might finally grab this. Is the online community healthy?
Yeah, it's good. Online can be a little frustrating at times (due to ramming) but this is still the most exhilarating game ive ever played, especially when you are battling for a sport mode win. I have three In 120odd races, it is tough so be prepared!

Don't count on rain, that trailer was from last year, here's the full version:

I'm not sold that we'll ever see dynamic weather in GT Sport, but I wouldn't be upset for a surprise.

I would like someone to finally take a honest crack at Solitude.

I liked racing a very early version of it during pre-alpha days of Project CARS 1.

Kaz said it won't be dynamic transitions. They already had experience with dynamic weather last-gen and think they can do much more with static this gen. What's annoying though is Kaz stated it like it's easy to implement but then it's taking forever to release. :\

Paul Ricard doesn't have a bridge like that.

Calling it, Grand Valley Speedway but transplanted in the south of France.
