Refs also judge intention, especially with VAR. Given that he went all in to try to win that penalty and pushed the ball out of play (even if he didn't get tackled he would never catch it before it went out, which is an important point also) he killed any chance of actually getting the penalty.

Don't know about banning the whole team, but twats like Neymar would stop if officials went through the footage after a match and handed out reds to everyone that dived in the match.

You can tell by Neymars facial expressions when he has actually been fouled. It's quite incredible how real pain compares to fake, cheating bullshit.
