No. I actually hate most trends. Seeing all of the skinny jeans around makes me glad I don't partake in trends.

Skinny jeans aren't really a trend, they're always something people enjoy wearing regardless of trends. They're a staple cut in any jeans store through all seasons.

You either find them comfy or you don't I guess.

I think even dressing plainly is still fashion. You like it. You choose to wear it. You might not spend as much time as someone else on what to wear or what to buy. But it's still fashion. It's still the image you want to project out into the world.

When I'm deep in another personal spiral, I tend to wear whatever is clean and right there to grab. That goes double in summer where all I can stand is shorts and a shirt. But when I'm feeling stable, I like expressing myself through clothing. I like piecing the parts together. Autumn is the best time for really going in on an outfit. I've got a cute as fuck corduroy jacket I bought on clearance waiting to be used once that temp drops.

Also skinny jeans aren't a trend. They are a fit.

I love fashion and try to stay abreast of the latest trends because it introduces me to new things I like. That said, I still only wear stuff that speaks to me, not because it is popular.

Not in the slightest, whatsoever. T-shirts, shorts, barefoot maybe flip-flops and thats it .. for life. I have my budget set so I can retire at 50, and one of the easiest things I cut out of my life in order to invest was fashion.

IMO fashion is a complete waste of money. I still get laid 3-4 days a week so I've never seen it as a mechanism for attraction either but I can understand and appreciate it as a hobby and what its like to have hobbies. But for the life of me, it really seems like a scam.

You work too damn hard to just give it away on dumb clothes.

Ha, no.

I put little thought into my overall fashion of my clothes. I toss on some jeans and a shirt I haven't worn yet in the past week and keep on going. I actually put more thought into the underwear I wear than anything else because I like having interesting underwear.

I care about my clothes looking good and not being a complete mess, so yes. I like to bring my shirts and pants to a tailor so they can fit nicely and not look like baggy oversized crap.

That depends.

Is 'rumpled Columbo-looking motherfucker' a fashion? If so, then yes.

I wear my clothes so long that they eventually come back into fashion.

I like dressing up. It's nice to get spiffed for a night on the town and stunt a little bit. It used to be worse when I was younger. Hypebeast level foolery complete with the fannypack matching the dunks. Now I just like to look clean and fresh and pulled together.

I only clown my friends who wear cargo pants, gaming shirts and airwalks/chucks/vans like it's 1998.

Fashion no, style yes. Your style is non-verbal communication, better to learn it.

This is all a matter of definition.

For some, fashion is absolutely a hobby. If you are walking around in RO, Taichi, MA+, BBS or whatever, you are far beyond simply dressing well for the sake of dressing well. You are obviously interested in high fashion clothing for its artistic merits.

Yep! I definately have a "look" I try to cultivate and maintain that's an expression of me. Luckily that's not super fancy. Don't really give a fuck about name brands. I recently moved out of the LA/OC area though and I feel like I'm sort of overdressed sometimes now in my new area.

Yes! I do what I can with a modest budget. I love to play with different looks. Confidence is so important.
