With that being said, I recommend not engaging with the "usual suspects" who always show up in these threads caping for Nazis and fascists. They can't be reasoned with. As I said a few pages back, those of us who are willing to fight can and will continue to do so on behalf of those who lack the spine.

Eh, I think both side can learn. I'm just following this story now and just read that the guy got arrested, lost his job, tried to delete his social media and people found cached versions of them, got publicly kicked out of his political party, and is getting his name and face plastered everywhere.

I mean damn, he's gonna be a target for a while. I'm all for standing up for your beliefs, but just do it in a way that won't ruin your life.

By saying that "both sides can learn" are you saying that one side needs to learn how to mitigate the legal consequences from disputing the other, which was a hate group? I honestly don't get this. They chose to stand up to it and knew it would have consequences.

This is bizarre on a few levels:

- Why would you need to involve the police in something so trivial
- Describing this as an 'attack' is some absolutely twisted language (as would be the use of the world 'assault')

Sounds like a police state enforcing the status quo. Another way to enforce the status quo is to support racist people wearing symbols of hate and oppression.

I've said my peace enough. Just to say in parting:

I get the impression many seem to hate this country.....well I'm not one of them. I hate Trump, this administration, racism, white supremacy, the lot of it. But this country's worth fighting for and there's a lot of decent people here. I'm sure I'm not viewed as one of them because, Heaven forbid, I believe in protecting a higher principle that's at the core of what makes America great rather than wishing to take a shit on it because of the vile views of what some human filth embrace. Don't make these people worth it.

There are other places to live if you and others here don't care for freedom of expression and assembly, or only selectively so. It just strikes me as odd that you and others here embrace and enjoy freedoms until they fail to serve your own interests. Then you suddenly want them curtailed.

It's just unfortunate that you can't recognize that that will ultimately work against your best interests as much as it will for them.

The TV station reports the witness was eating with his family at the Whataburger and says the three teens involved in the video mention the film "The Purge", wishing it was real, but only against African-Americans and Latinos.

He also said the teens were joking about 'hanging blacks' and killing off minorities.

"They said they wanted it to be legal for white people to kill any other race for the Fourth of July," the witness told KENS.
He said another man in the restaurant asked the teens to stop making such comments.

The witness said he and his family cut their dinner short after that before things escalated.

Fortunately, i live in Europe. Where hate speech laws do exist. And contrary to your belief, they work pretty damn well.
