Really? If DBFZ can achieve 60fps on Switch, what makes you think Skullgirls of all things will struggle?
Pretty much all fighting games require 60fps.
Skullgirls can hit 60 on toaster PC's and it ran at 60 on last gen hardware. It's literally not an issue here.
Sony has SFV & KoFXIV locked down, so don't get your hopes up.
That's up to Disney. Same applies for the Disney Afternoon Collection.

On-topic, I honestly didn't expect this. Maybe I'll double-dip.
SFV finally allows us to move past SFIII in the timeline for future SF games & you wanna go backwards? We already got "KOF 14 but mostly naked girls" for switch so maybe we can get Street Fighter Alpha 4 for switch?

Gotcha. Personally, I think the d-pad buttons on the joycons and the d-pad of the pro controller are really bad, so I just use my arcade stick with an adapter on Switch.Arena fighter with most of the actual fighting done on a 2D plane.
Less reliance on special motions (which are hell on single joycons) and just translate better on a pad (at least from my experiences with SC and DOA).

It was even on the vita bIt was an honest question, I swear. It's nice to know that will be the case, it seems.

Time for the fabled quadruple-dip. I just love supporting this game.
Pocket Rumble at least works just fine since it has no motions for specials.Sf anniversary taught me to never buy another fighting game again for switch due to the bad controller but good for those that can handle it.
But SFV is before SFIII (it's 1 -> Alpha -> 2 -> 4 -> 5 -> 3).Alpha1 was before SF1, Alpha 2 was after.
So it is not like being called Alpha means anything except more anime style =P
It can be before 5 but ater 3
I've been saying for quite some time now that Namco should really rerelease Tekken Tag 2 on the Switch with all the Wii U exclusive content, as it's a shame to have such a wonderful version of the game stuck on a platform that didn't do too well. It may not be the newest 3D fighter, but it's better than nothing. I wonder if it'd sell pretty well on Switch if it was the first "true" 3D fighter on the platform? I don't think it'd do too badly, and the install base is definitely there.
The limitations Skull Girls had regarding hitting a Nintendo platform was with the Wii U. They wouldn't try and do this with Skull Girls and Indivisible if they didn't think they could hit the same parity as everywhere else.It was an honest question, I swear. It's nice to know that will be the case, it seems.
This is some corrupt a wish situation for me, though :( I wanted fighters for Switch, but it's getting all the ones I don't play, lol. No Tekken, no KOF, no SC, no DOA, etc.
ARMS, baby!Arena fighter with most of the actual fighting done on a 2D plane.
Recreating the tournament scene in a bathroom or parking lot with Switch would be dope tbh
Fucking same!Ya'know with Pocket Rumble finally coming out today, I had this random thought wondering when Skullgirls was coming to the Switch.
And what do ya know...
Holy shit! I had heard VGCW wrapped up and I had assumed WVGCW had as well. I'll have to start watching again.Yes. Season 10 just ended and taking a break for a few weeks. They are also two WVGCW Genesis shows
*Cross Tag Battle grand finals*Skullgirls is just going to brute force it's way onto the EVO main stage.
I just think that the Switch is a Vita 2.0 that's why the Switch is getting all these ports. Vita had an insane amount of good fighters...I've mentioned this before, but I do believe the Joy-Con multiplayer features are what's attracting fighting games to the Switch. A console that comes with 2 controllers that can be shared with a friend, and can be propped up with a kickstand anytime, anywhere calls back to the genre's arcade roots. I actually think the Switch can bring the genre back to mainstream relevancy because of this.
