IMO, there's a good chance that the Russians will interfere in the midterm elections just like they did in the 2016 election.

If the Democrats don't win the midterm elections this year, there's going to be a huge riot. People will know that it was Russia again. You would think that they would be smart enough to back out of it after they were recently exposed for interfering in the 2016 election & that Robert Mueller has already indicted 13 Russians for it.

I think no matter what happens there will be riots after the election. The country is very divided right now and it's just gonna get worse.

Edit: I should clarify I see more chances of riots happening during the 2020 presidential election though.

Sadly I believe the Russians could stop meddling now and still be successful. Their damage has been done. We're at the point of a completely divided nation.

I've just recently been watching The Vietnam War by Ken Burns. I wonder if the American public could protest like that again.

I don't have faith in Americans personally. There's too many systems in place to keep them down and apathetic.

Shit if there is actual evidence of Russian Tampering again and we see a scenario where the GOP holds on to House etc. There should be a hell of a lot more than riots.

Honestly I think if somehow trump shut down the mueller investigation people would finally fill the streets

With the Russian meddling itself there is still too much mystery and unknowns for people to riot in the streets over it

You have proof of Russian meddling and people are not rioting right now.

The fact Americans didn't impeach Trump yet should be enough proof that this nation is probably lost for the foreseeable future. A lot of people don't understand how Trump is fucking up the US for generations to come, all according to keikaku... I mean Putin.

So if you think people will have a revelation come midterms, it won't be the case. Propaganda won.

...Why would they back out of it when they know that Trump won't do anything about it??

And those indictments mean nothing unless those 13 Russians actually come to the United States, which they won't do.

Maybe we should get actual people to vote for Dems instead of solely blaming Russia.

What was the turnout? 60%? Did Russia make the other people oversleep?

I know it's easier to just blame Russia rather than having a shitty candidate with voters who couldn't give less of a shit, but that doesn't win elections.

I don't think so, otherwise it would have happened already.
Trump has displayed an incredible and unprecedented level of corruption and ignorance on a constant basis, a tiny fraction of which would have led to the removal of a president in the past - yet nothing has happened and he still is president 1.5 years later.
