The news source that originally posted the witness's quotes rescinded the quotes after questioning the legitimacy of them. I'm kinda leaning towards the quotes being fabricated at the moment, but the article kinda doesn't sit right with me, this quote specifically:

There will never be definitive proof of this kind of thing, but since adults don't generally go around throwing drinks on white kids, and given the kid's hat and general douchiness, you can probably assume that there was something said to instigate the conflict.

I am trying to be better though addressing the content of people's posts instead of going in hard on what they are up to, mods have enough to deal with without slapfights and the report feature is there for a reason.
