Thanks for the confirmation ! As much as I prefer the Pegi logo, I'll stick with my copy then :)

I don't think. But you can ask Josh or the LRG-account on Twitter about the numbers. They always gave an answer so far.

I just tweeted them, I hope they see it. I'll keep everybody informed if they give a new number !

From the Discord:

"July's LRG schedule straight from Douglas:

July 6th
Night Trap Switch
Observer PS4
Magicka 2 PS4
Everspace PS4

July 13th
Exile's End PS4/Vita

July 20th
Thumper Switch/PS4
Hue PS4/Vita"

I liked Hue, but maybe not enough to pay the premium these editions cost.

Curious when we will learn when "Exile's End" will hit. Hopefully soonish, need to plan ahead because of vacation. :)

Also I'm really excited to see if "Thumper" will get a PS4 CE. Hope so!

Plz plz plz don't put Phantom Breaker or Sanran Kagure on Aug 24th or 31st... The 3rd, 10th, or 17th would be perfect, but I don't want crappy internet/4g access to screw me over on those two days :(

Definitely jumping in on Night Trap on Switch. Can't wait.

Not really sure about Observer. I love horror, but dunno.

Yikes. I was planning on jumping on Observer, but I'm not sure I need it at $40. Still, it reviewed well. I have to think about it.

Think Magicka is a pass for me, and nobody answered me as to whether or not Night Trap has any new features in from the PS4 version. I think I've mentioned this before, but I'd love to watch a cut of the movie without having to go through every scene manually.

Observer is a definite buy for me. I'm still looking for a similar experience like Soma and the trailers I've seen so far look really promising. The only thing that worries me a bit is the fact that the game's supposed to rely on jump scares.

I think LRG said in the Twitch stream yesterday that the Switch version will only have the option to play in Japanese as an extra, not more. I'm pretty sure that they said that but i played a game while i watch it so i could be wrong.

Follow up : niet. Nada. No answer yet ^^'

On Friday I'll probably grab Night Trap, Magicka 2 and Observer. They look all fun to me, and I've sold my Night Trap PS4 already. It's a bit annoying that Switch games take so long to ship but it is what it is.

Thanks! I'll take it. Bummer that the only way you can watch a cut of the actual movie is via YouTube or a vhs in the collector's edition.

In brief (I'm on mobile) such limited runs kill any interest because it's just a massive hassle, speculate who is buying them (just collectors to leave sealed on a shelf?), what would happen if the artificial cap wasn't so low (would less people buy?), and I think that's it? Email was in response to a question why them and collectors editions are run in such short supply and not to demand.

I think the answer to those is that:

1) All sorts of people buy these. Sealed collectors, people that will play them, etc.

2) For most releases, I do not thimk they would sell that well, if mass produced. A couple of the bigger releases for sure would, but we've seen the preorder numbers. In some cases, open preorders lacks the urgency, and even after being open for two weeks, barely breaks a couple thousand copies.

i'm not even a collector and some of my LRG games are still sealed, mainly because i have the US versions on PSN

I buy LRG releases I genuinely think I will have the time to play and will enjoy. Night Trap is the only one I've been wrong about so far and I resold it as a used copy on eBay. I expected bad acting and gameplay in that game but not THAT bad gameplay. I don't collect games, I collect the games I like. I'm definitely a bit behind with playing my LRG releases, and backlog in general, but the ones that don't go free on PS+/Games With Gold/Game Pass I hope to open up and play one day. Every one of them. Wonder if I'm in minority?

I think the Owlboy CE was limited to 5000 copies, which is more than most CE from LRG, and i could not get one. Which is really sad because that was a really, really good collector edition (for me, the collector editions from LRG are not really good).

I also only buy games i want to play. But i rarely sell games i don't like. I would call me a collector but i'm more than happy if millions of other people have a phyical copy of a game also in their collection.

I'm like you Clive (except I haven't tried Night Trap yet. I hope I won't be disappointed ^^)

I've got a big backlog but from time to time I open an LRG game and finish it. Two days ago I played Nex Machina for the first time and really enjoyed it.

Hmm. Trying to get info out of EAS regarding a Switch physical. Wasn't too happy when they did the PS4 version of dimension drive and then announced a cheaper, more feature complete Switch version a month later. Will most likely get it, but I'd rather have it on any other system.

Kinda flip-flopping on whether I want Night Trap on Switch. It'd give me a good excuse to run through it again, but do I really need another copy of it? Really, the only appeal is to have it on cartridge.

I wish the newly announced localisation of Dramatical Murder would also apply to the Vita version, and that we'd receive a physical release of that in the west. But chances of that happening seem incredibly slim.

Have any of these Play Asia releases even soldout quickly? I applaud PA for doing the signup thing when they first started, but it seems the demand isn't nearly at LRG levels.
Sometimes, yes.
It's hard to tell which title will sell out, and which goes on to their clearance sales.

But for Severed? You probably need to order sooner rather than later.

Man the LRG main home page needs some serious work. It's like all the recent and future stuff is just splatted on there to sort through.

Not even serious work. A simple pulldown with sorting options like "alphabetical" "sale date" "price". I'd be surprised if that Shopify setup doesn't have the option on hand and easily implemented.

I believe the answer is no, but did LRG ever announce the Mummy Demastered? Josh teased a game that seemed like a shoe in for it but I never heard anything after that.

Still no Blaster Master Zero announcement, either. Would love to see that happen, along with Blossom Tale and Kamiko and Fairune Collection.
