From Gematsu:

FuturLab-developed shoot 'em up hybrid Velocity 2X is coming to Switch in August, publisher Curve Digital announced.

Played a lot on Vita. Might double dip on Switch as well. Solid shoot'em up/action!

EDIT
Also coming this August on Switch, Manual Samuel.

Great game. If you haven't played it before I highly recommend it.

You're in for a treat Ninty fans. All my fellow Vita brethren will concur. Fantastic game. Shame they're not also bringing over Velocity Ultra.

Finished it recently on Vita. Very fast shoot'em up / platformer with a few puzzle bits too. Interesting mix of genres here.

The level of challenge isn't high (apart from the "perfect" medals), which makes it very approachable. To top it all off, the game controls are really satisfying, and it's filled with extra content, from additional story to mini games.

Highly recommended (same with the first game).

I wonder if it's getting a physical release as well? Maybe with Limited Run Games since they've published a few Curve titles in the past. Time will tell.

Yes! This and Guacamelee were two of my favorite PsVita games.
I hope Guacamelee 1&2 make their way to the Switch as well eventually.

Awesome game. Not gonna buy it since I already played the crap out of it on PS4, but everyone who hasn't should!

Cool, I loved this back on the Vita. Probably won't pick this up again, but Switch owners who do are in for a good time.

Good game and the excellent controls can't be overstated because the extremely low latency makes the controls feel telepathic. It's sad that most games can't match it!

If you haven't already, play it, it is a phenomenal game. Loved every second of it on Vita.

I don't think I could play this on switch with the current controller options. I also wouldn't want to deal with those late-game levels again. That said everyone should pick this up.

This is such an awesome game Switch owners, you're in for a treat. Shame they're not doing a bundle with the first, though the sequel is really a big improvement, the first has a lot of charm.

I'd also like to join in with several other people in this thread, and say that I highly recommend this game!

I've played on PS4 and Vita, and it's a superb game on both of those systems. I slightly prefer playing on Vita, since the touch screen gives you another option for teleporting that can make some portions a little easier. Switch fans should certainly give Velocity 2X some serious consideration.

Even though I already own and have played it to death on Vita, it's a masterpiece so it's always a joy seeing it finding new homes. People, don't sleep on this game if you haven't played it yet.

Velocity 3X when.

Bumping this thread because I'm playing the Switch version right now, and the controls are driving me crazy. In ship mode, shoot is A, but on foot, A is jump. I can't remember the last 2D platformer I played that didn't have jump on B (or the bottom button on the face button diamond). I'm making so many mistakes because I keep expecting B to be jump. And you can't rebind the controls at all. I guess I could do a system level swap between the two buttons but that's cumbersome for a game I want to jump into every once in a while.

What's baffling is that on Vita/PS4, X is jump. What. The. Hell.
