Personally I don't have an issue with it as I've seen worse on the internet, but I think to help you understand their point of view, change the gender of the person taking all of those photos to a male and tell me if you think it's all still okay and cute.
Depending on the context and other factors, I'd be more on board, frankly. Guys are taught from hour zero to not be invested in romance, human connection and fanciful love stories. Women are bombarded with the opposite. If a dude's invested in someone else's amorous coupling, they slipped through the cracks of gender-based interest reinforcement. Pretty cool.

Aw, come on, let the people have their oxytocin

Why y'all gotta be such fucking downers
When that's at someone else's expense and you're voyeuristically documenting what two people are doing without their consent, literally taking pictures of them over and over, and then putting it up on Twitter? Yeah, no, I don't think that's behavior that should be celebrated or normalized. It would be different if it was just a text story. Or maybe one ambiguous image at best.

The scribbled out faces though

Even if the story is real, that's so extremely creepy with the way they don't give a shit about the privacy of those people and damn the presentation is some top tier cringe stuff I just cannot relate to in any way.

Just make a write up of what you saw, don't take pictures of the damn people and upload them to Twitter, not every person wants to be potentially recognized in a situation like this.

The west needs mandatory audible phone camera shutters to deter creeps like these.

They'd didn't scribble out all pictures of him, though, and you can catch a glimpse from behind. Not to mention they even looked up his profile on social media and posted a cropped version of it. It's just so excessive.
This is why OK Magazine and US and whatnot exists and thrives. I certainly don't defend voyeurism in all its forms, but this is some peoples' MCU.

We find it unnatural because it hasn't been encouraged and supported by our peers and influencers.

Umm, if I don't give a shit about my privacy, it's only logical nobody else does either.

The woman who posted all those photos needs her head checked. None of what happened with those other two passengers was any of her business and she had no right to put it online.

I think the woman posting was just having fun, thought a few of her friends would get a kick out of the story. Probably would have been different if she knew it would go viral, hopefully.

Attempting to compare voyeuristic creeping on someone else's life and posting to the internet without consent to a Hollywood movie production, talk about a stretch haha

"Kind of"? It's nightmare fuel.
"I have now snuck into the woman's house and have found out she has a boyfriend, Oh no!"

"Boyfriend has been dealt with, now she is in the trunk of my car, how funny!"

"Now the male passenger is in the trunk too! They are crying to each other, they even touched arms, True love!"

I would love this random attention as a single man.

Even if this "love story" didn't work out, there's probably at least 100+ lining up

What I mainly find odd about the entire situation is she assumes since both don't have wedding rings, they must be single!

Isn't she in the same boat posting all of this with her boyfriend?

Whatever happened to one long tweet using TweetLonger. Now everything is twitter threads and I almost never feel like scouring for the fucking thread and looking for where it starts and looking for parts 2 to 20

Phones on camera's and everyone having one... the normalcy of social media has made this a thing forever
Nobody is private anymore, they can just point a camera at you and watch you inconspicuosly cuz you are out in public

WTF the man (personal trainer, former soccer player) is Euan Holden... not all that well known, but his brother is freakin' Stu Holden.
Stu Holden who played for the US national team (including at the 2010 World Cup), Bolton Wanderers, and the Houston Dynamo.
And who is currently in Russia calling World Cup games for Fox.

Yup. At first I thought it was stupid in Japan, but after giving it some thoughts I knew exactly why they did this. Nobody minds the sound if you are just photographing normal stuff like it's suppose to be. Creep killer deluxe.

They already are, but silent camera apps are available.

Not true for Germany. I can just silence it.

This whole thing seems super creepy to me.

'Documenting' events via photos nonstop is already creeper territory, but putting it all online with tabloid style weird banners on top of it? Holy shit, get the fuck out of here with that.

This is actually a great idea that never crossed my mind. Even though there still would be people who are shameless and won't mind being caught it would stop the casual stalkers or people doing illegal stuff, like that problem of creeps taking photos under women's skirts on the train/bus.

I'm actually surprised that the majority here thinks this is a creepy privacy invasion (and I agree), even if the story itself is kinda cute. Most people I know on the internet (millennials and teens) think going viral like this is a blessing.

That's creepy as fuck. Also the lady who made the obnoxious Instagram posts has the worst fuckin haircut in the world lmao.

Why must they document that weird shit, right down to locating the guys profile and sharing pics of him shirtless?

This is insane, and even more unsettling is her mentions are flooded with people demanding to know even more and thanking her for sharing this "feel good" story.

I hope the "couple" in question reaches out to her on social media and tells her to rightly fuck off. This is reaching neckbeard levels of cringe.

The tone/style of all those posts is utterly insufferable and pretty creepy, but cute story I guess?

Pretty weird they didn't censor the faces on that picture of a woman and her baby.
