If you have seen the box office for Transformers 2 and 3, you already know people all over the world can enjoy awful movies. So I don't think a streaming mini series doing good will cause a meltdown.
It's a given that it will not be a good enough film/series, due to Snyders track record, but the question is if it actually will help grow the HBO Max userbase. That is the metric that will matter in the long run for AT&T I guess.
I don't see a meltdown here because the bar can realistically only be set so high.
But man, if he can turn in something that isn't a total slog to sit through like BvS despite some of his talents then to me that's an incredible success. That's also entirely within his capabilities.
