i agree. the settings on that tv are awful. makes it look like a soap opera.
The grapple gun hanging off the ledge is what did it for me... :/
Agreed with y'all that the motion smoothing isn't helping but I dunno... This really needed a bigger budget

I honestly don't know what to say at this point. Sure, the motion blur isn't helping but it is still so stilted and weird.
As someone who dislikes Snyder and finds the idea of the Snyder "cut" incredibly stupid, I never expected this to be good but I never dreamed it would be anything like this.
Oof. I at least expected some visually strong action sequences out of this, even if I dislike how Snyder portrays these characters. Hope that isn't indicative of the rest of the movie.
The rough CGI I could take (and may be exacerbated by the motion smoothing), but the whole scene just feels awkward.
The motion smoothing is making this look worse than it likely is.
It's still shot strangely but keep that in mind.
We're a long way from the BvS warehouse fight. Christ, Snyder.
So you're saying using them in a 4 hour super cut maybe was a bad idea?
Perhaps so. Or at the very least tempering expectations to fans that this cut was going to be a little rough.

It's not the notion matching for me, its the weird cuts like the sequence where he fires his grappler and does the kick. Then the parademon just chilling while Batman slowly kicks him
A bunch of this is in the theatrical. Including that really dumb swing-kick with the grappling hook.
And god, Affleck just slowly lumbering over like he's waiting for a hot pocket to microwave or something. Just the physicality is not there at all.
Kind of gross considering what happened to Snyder's daughter and the whole backstory of why he remade the film.That Batman scene...

So, uh, what happened? Did his stunt team and action coordinators bail for the Snyder Cut, or something?
Only the joker scene is newly shot right?, so that's maybe poor post processing.

What's wrong with the swinging kick? That was the thing I felt actually worked with that sequence.
The Snyder Cut will be at the same time the KINOest KINO and the Comic-bookest movie of all time.

It's less about that shot of Cyborg's posing and more about the weird cut to a very detached shot of Joker's posing.
Something something, WB intentionally set up the Snyder Cut to fail by only giving him $70m (at minimum, I'm pretty sure they overshot that)!!1!
That batman fight scene...I can't get over how much batfleck struggles to land that kick. Oof. I'm so excited to watch this trainwreck.

There's a lot of people out there who defended the Whedon cut before the Snyder cut was even really a thing. Surely there'll be people out there to defend this one as well.
