YouTube channel posts clickbait video claiming that spiders are back for Resident Evil 3 Remake; no official word from Capcom

Really hoping Spiders are in; just cause more enemy variety is good. But still skeptical as this doesn't seem like a trustworthy source.
It'd be awesome if Spiders were included if they'd patch them into a few sections of RE2make for the same reason.

I don't get the lack of spiders in REmake 2 complaint, as spiders & crows were more of an RE1 enemy that just makes a cameo in 2. If they were to appear in REmake 2, the team would have to dedicate time & resources to makes models (RE2, they could reuse assets from 1, not the cause for the REmake) for an enemy that only appears once. The alternative is to add more encounters with them, but they clearly did not feel they fit the RE2 scenario.

People really overreacted about them not being in the remake of 2. I remember them being an absolute joke in the original that you just ran by. So ineffective actually that I forgot their existence in 2 and had to remind myself that they were actually in the game when people started acting like it was big deal.
I agree with that person. I hate shooting a zombie over and over in the head with no idea how many shots he'll take to actually go down. And then not knowing how many more times he'll get up off the ground. And then every once in a while getting an exploding head with one shot. I'd rather be rewarded for accurate shooting.

Please do not quote claims as gospel when their sources are strange, poorly thought-out clickbait videos whose very first "you totally forgot about this!" claim involves the least forgettable thing about a video game. Thanks.
Ah this is a bummer. Outside Xbox is one of the few youtube channels I watch. They do make a lot of listicle style videos, but I find the hosts charming and they have better production values than a lot of youtube.
I didn't realize the spiders hadn't been confirmed. They don't seem prone to just making things up whole cloth. Not to defend them too much, but they are technically a part of Eurogamer, so they may have info or seen a preview that hasn't been made public yet.

Since there's really no reason to keep giving the video attention, I am indeed going to go ahead and lock this as Suede suggested. :P Please feel free to bring spiders back into ResetEra if and when they are actually confirmed.
