Yep. I even reload LMGs when they're at like 75/80 (but when that happens, I tend to switch the weapon until it's safe for that 15 second reload animation 😂

I know I've played a game which does this but I can't think what it is. Maybe the first Metro 2033 game?

On the other end of the spectrum the early Medal of Honor games would not let you reload the M1 Garand I think it was until the clip was empty. I believe this was true to real life.

is there a game that punishes you for reloading? Like let you have 100 ammo, a mag is 20 and you shoot one. you're down to 19/20 with 99 total. then you reload and you're at 20/20 with 80 total.
