At some point sony marketing thought it would be a good idea to tap David Lynch to make adverts for PS2

here are the results if you dont remember them

This one is simply titled Bambi (relatively tame)

The next one is THE WOLFMAN (Batshit nutzo)

The Last one is.....Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. The Third Space

Theres also a behind the scenes on the last one

Man, the last one is like an advance trailer for stuff from Twin Peaks: The Return, 18 years early.

David Lynch only directed 'welcome to the third place', not the others

Wolfman was directed by Tim Hope, Bambi by Kevin Thomas

The hype train for the PS2 was the best of all time because people believed literally any shit your put out there and Sony took full advantage

Awesome. Though only the last one really feels Lynchian.

/edit: oh I guess he didn't direct the first two, makes sense.

Why? I'm sure marketing people would love to use terms from urban sociology (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_place) all over their marketing campaigns.
Wow, thanks. I actually never understood what they meant with "third place" (and I always find that screaming woman/kid voice in that ad irritating). Now I at least get what the third place means.

Also, the last two videos in OP are weird as fuck. Kinda liked it.
