Does the games frame rate dip for anyone during cutscenes? Seems to be all over the place. (PC version)

Full screen seems to be at 30fps :/

Windowed mode is 60fps

edit: must have been something weird, restarted the game, everything is fine

Man, I don't even need a midnight release, I just want a sensible release time. I want it to release so I can actually play on the day of release. If the DLC page countdown is right, the game is literally releasing at 9pm for me, which - let's be real - fucking sucks and hardly counts as releasing "today" when they're not even offering preloads. I hate how shitty Steam has been with these digital releases for years now.

9 PM CET is really really late and not even worth the 10th November release date...

Sigh..steam releases have always sucked in my experience. It is unlocking on 11th for me. And on top of that my internet connection sucks and there is no option for preload.

I cannot wait for this, if I manage to get my hands on a PS5, this and Valhalla will be the first things I play! I've been watching Cohh play this on YouTube and it's making me desperate to play it myself!

Amazon claims they're going to deliver the game today, but it's still not dispatched ffff. I reckon I'm gonna end up getting it at 8pm GMT or something.

Resisting the temptation to just buy a digital edition haha.

played the opening hours on the xbox one x version before the pc version unlocked (play anywhere is very cool!) and man, going to 60 fps feels so good. Especially after having played all the other dragon engine games on a base ps4.

but yeah , this is a slow start even for a yakuza game lol.

I just got an email from amazon saying my copy has been delayed till between the 27th of November - 17 December so clearly they didn't get enough copies in. What a joke.

Yakuza is one of my favorite series (been there since the first game came out on PS2) and I can't wait to finally play Yakuza 7 after work today. Been waiting so long for this and I'm very much excited to experience a new cast on a new adventure.

had me panic checking my account there. I regret ordering from Amazon everytime but I do it because it's easy to just click pre-order and forget :/ That sucks mate, sorry.

It tells me I don't own the Stat Boost Set or the Crafting Set.

Also what difficulty do you guys recommend starting on? I hate overly easy games. I played DQ11 in Draconian Mode (Harder Enemies) and loved it.

On Xbox, I'm missing 2 items from Legendary Edition strangely.

I'll chase them up when they less busy.

Yakuza: Like A Dragon, the seventh mainline game in the Yakuza series, is getting an update that will make the game harder on a second playthrough. The new DLC will only usable for players who have beaten the game once, and will allow them to go through again, but with the difficulty turned up.

I'm due to start playing later but how does the DLC feel in this game? Does any of it feel necessary or is it very much optional?

The DLC seems to be a lot of stuff that could in theory make the game easier. Think I'll stick to the base game.

None of it is too important, mostly just stuff to make the game easier. The job dlc has two new jobs for combat but there's plenty of jobs in the base game.

It feels like some of that DLC was meant to be retailer exclusive pre-order bonuses

Preorder from Amazon & get the stat boost pack, Gamestop gives you the material pack.

Guessing it'll be added later, but weird how some of the packs don't have stuff sold separately. Especially the costume pack where the majority of it is the pre-order bonus, so the last 4 outfits are $15 unless they sell them individually considering the listing/wording for each product page.
