I know I'm being a moaning minny but why on earth put a teardown video on twitter? Why not tweet a link to a YouTube video or some other hosting site?

This is way tinier than I thought. Is this like the size of a Wii?

Edit: and damn, basically half that size is for cooling

Found a new vid. It has also a series x teardown in it. Its not the best recorded. But shows enough details.

The engineers at Xbox are wizards. They have been knocking it out of the park since the One S.

That is so damned small. Like, way smaller than I thought.

Unless the Corey Stoll-alike has massive hands.

Do we have any good shots of the SSD slot yet?

That video was kinda annoying with the way they shot it lol

It seems puny and insignificant. I'm not sure why this exists.

juh kay. Though, this makes me think they COULD HAVE made a Gamecube lol.

Its a brazilian channel the best part they said is after the teardown they've turn on again the Series S and the Quick Resume was working with all games on same state hahaha

Making half of the width of the console a fan is one way to keep it cool and quiet. I continue to be impressed by the Series S, it's a really well designed console.

Is this some weird perspective magic?! Looks smaller here than any other video I've seen. Some stellar engineering from MS
Edit: Series X I mean

Thanks for posting this, I was looking for it and couldn't find it lol

I would assume a more thorough teardown should be coming by Tuesday at the latest and there's a group that will be working to reverse engineer the formatting for the SSD to see if it would be possible to replace the internal with a faster and/or larger SSD. That'll depend on if it is in fact slotted.
