Decide which one you want (quick) so you don't hesitate when checking out. Not knowing anything about your situation and needs I'd say the X, because it'd be more powerful, have the disc drive for rentals or Bluray playback, and give you extra storage for (probably) the same amount as the S + a 1TB expansion card, but if you want an S then stick with that.

One more question I know it comes with hdmi cable but can I just use my hdmi cable for The series S I already own?
I don't trust BestBuy at all since they've trolled me by allowing me to add phantom PS5s and RTX3080s to my cart that I can never actually buy. It's like they just waste my time while things sell out everywhere else.

That'll depend on if you plan on using HDMI 2.1 features or not. The Series X/S should both be including an HDMI 2.1 compliant HDMI cable so it'll just depend on that.
