Worms 2: Armageddon was BC right at the start and then got removed from BC. I thought I heard there were bugs.
With Portal: Still Alive on Games with Gold this month, I know Portal 2 is back compat, but it's one of the few games that requires the disc version to play, right? I can't just buy it digitally on the Xbox Live store?
I have the digital version (think it was GwG at some point?) and it plays just fine. I always thought if a digital version exists then you're good to go? AFAIK there are only a handful of BC games without a digital version that are pure disc only.
No you can download it, might be worth waiting for a sale though.

Can you still play it on an actual 360? I really liked that game.

Man, I was really hoping they'd make the original splinter cell trilogy BC before e3 to hype a new SC game.
That'd be something. Especially as Pandora's Tomorrow is pretty much broken on PC, it's only playable on PS3 and Xbox 360.
I'm wondering how many more games can they feasibly tap into from the 360 library without getting into licensing issues. Or maybe they're holding off on any major announcements till E3? We're long overdue for another round of OG xbox titles.
I have a feeling they are going to drop some BC games during Inside Xbox during E3. I doubt we will get anything until then.

Did you not have to mod it someway to fix the dynamic shadows?
Last few weeks? Try the past couple of months. The only game we got all of April was Ninja Gaiden 2 and May wasn't much better. Yes I'm aware they enhanced a few titles in April for the X as well but that didn't slow their output down the last time they released X enhancements.
Not anticipating anything until well after E3 at this point. Unless, of course, this significant lull is because they're preparing some sort of reveal for backwards compatibility that relates to Xcloud, which is the only reason I can think they would bother to mention it during a conference.
I've said this several times in this thread, but to date Microsoft hasn't ever revealed further additions to the program during their programs, only expansions to the program's capabilities. Wishing for otherwise is a pipe dream especially with how lacking it's been the past few months.

I don't think it was. The forced cutscenes kill replayability though.
Tbh i don't remember for sure what mods i installed. Something for the controls (i prefer gamepad), and also some graphical mods. It might have been what you say. But it's very playable. Just needs a little care :)
It really is not broken, I replayed it a couple of months ago, you only need to use the dgvoodoo wrapper and you're golden.

With the news of no more campaign on R6 I'd love to see all previous ones on BC too
R6 3 on Xbox was specially awesome for me
