I remember I got one in 2017 and by the time I received it I convinced myself it was too late. That shit be expensive
From what I understand, concept and design on Stormlands became another game that also didn't make it over the finish line, and then that game became Tyranny. I also remember hearing that the concept for Stormlands multiplayer and the "million man raid" or whatever it was, came from Xbox, not from Obsidian, and Obsidian thought it was neat and kind of ran with it.
Given that information I'd be surprised to see Stormlands reaper, but it could happen, if it does I don't think it would come back as the big multiplayer boss raid game that I've heard about, the world could come back though, if anyone at Obsidian cares enough about it.
If it is a ninety minute conference I really hope we don't get a fifteen minute xCloud segment, keep that to under five. It should really be it's own event rather than shoehorning it into the E3 presser.

Fourteen games from Xbox Games Studios with an average of just over three minutes a trailer would be forty five minutes.

Yeah I focused on the relationship because the 2 characters the game focused on was them... every cutscene, every gameplay banter was literally of those 2 characters. I'm not focusing on anything, that's what the game was. YOUR focusing on the minor elements of a save the girl story. Again I thought the didact was cool, I fucked with the whole Shakespearean holier than thou persona. Uncovering the mystery of the shield world finding out it's essentially a giant prison. Finding out chief was space Jesus was also dope to right the wrongs the librarian couldn't, all it did was make him immune anyways, it's great plot thread for newer halo's especially since chief has been speculated (from the gameplay not the books, ala halo 1) to be a reincarnation of (forgot his name) a forunner from eons ago since day 1.
She left something in place to get humanity through the battles that THEY lost. I think you looking to hard into minor shit when it was all pretty straight forward. Seriously, watch ign, gamespot, acg (personal fav), literally anyone review that game and they'll tell you what made the game great is having an already established relationship reach new heights.
And Halsey was there for less than 5 damn minutes. I think your just being overtly negative. Like, fine it's not everyone's cup of tea I get that. That doesn't mean the dialogue, emotion (remember the dude before lasky? Forgot his name but I loved to hate him, that's the same humanity that's persecuting Halsey which I still don't see how you see her as a mad scientist. It's oni/humanity trying to cover there ass over the Spartan program,) character growth is all mute because they had a 5 minute scene with hasley and you couldn't figure out the motives of the didact and librarian for some reason.
It was pretty straight forward in terms of halo games. If you were to say oh the mission structure was boring (which I'd still disagree with, it wasn't the most diverse but it sure as hell shits on any other FPS campaign this gen besides titan fall 2) I could see your points, but the story is just objectively good. Not like I'm making this up, that was just the general consensus for halo 4, MP was ass but the story was top notch. Never seen anyone say otherwise, well I mean, until now lol. But then again people haaaaated 343 back then just for the halo community to turn around and say man wasn't halo 4 great? Lol, they did the same thing with reach and ODST. Each their own I guess.
If I was to rank the story's in halo I'd say halo 1 (was the start of a universe, never going to top that), halo 4, halo 2 (that ending man, 4 left me in tears 2 just had me like "Wat.. that's it"), ODST, (even though this is my favorite halo, missions we're the best hands down) 3. Never played the halo wars games so I'm not going to add those. How would you rank them? I'm curios.

You know what would be amazing if that new PC app also like a virtual machine kinda thing. So you start up the app. Have all your games there, gamepass section etc.
But also something called legacy console games. You start that up and you boot into the 360 UI just like on the xbox one with BC and you can play all the BC games there. Offcourse with a controller. But that would be amazing.
