The absurd claim that the Series S's only compromise is resolution continues to be untrue.
Thanks you and the teams at Xbox for all the hard work. Features like these are incredible. Also: The table is also sortable by each of the columns. Enjoy.
It is off by default so you need to turn it on.Is BFV fully at 60fps today or does it depend on distance like Halo 5? I was playing last night and I could swear that the dogfight I was watching in the distance was not near 60fps while everything happening around me was.
Recently played it again and it's really good. Love the time swap function of a certain level and it's really an early glimpse on what next gen will be able to do on a much greater scale. I can't recommend this TF2 campaign enough.
Interested to know how Titanfall 2 will deal with the super sampling now, as the 1X version was 6K in parts I believe?
Wonder if there is any 6K120 sections?
Great stuff. Shame NFS Heat didn't get bumped to 60. Would be game changing.
No I think BFV is 60fps already?
It's still backwards compatibility with essentially a hack in place to make it run higher. Games won't run as well as native development.Seeing the Series S being excluded of 120fps on some games makes me worried, but still FPS boost is an amazing feature. Xbox is really killing it with their BC team.
Why would you expect 360 FPS boosts when they've announced all upcoming FPS boosts will be Xbox One games. We don't even know if the technique/methods they use will even work on BC 360/OG Xbox games yet.

Battlefield for example always run at 60FPS on Xbox One, thus those run with 60FPS on Series S, too. Can't speak for every game.I'm a bit confused. In that little spreadsheet, does the games that have -- on the Series S category means they're not getting a 60hz bump/120hz bump? Or does it only mean that they do run in 60hz but not in 120hz?
I completely misread what you said - apologies. I think DF did analysis on it though?

FPS is at 15 or so on The Evil Within so if they double it we can play it at 30 FPS.
I was thinking the same thing. My brother still like to hop in once in a while, 4K would do wonders for that game lolCan we hope for a resolution boost for BF4 ? 120hz is nice, but 720p is really too low...
Are they able to double the frame-rate for 360 games? The Dead Space trilogy would be perfect.
YesSo if you have a 60hz TV, will the 120hz titles still run at 60hz?
We don't know. Right now they're focused on boosting as many Xbox One games as they can.If only they would increase the resolution for Mirrors Edge Catalyst. It's stuck at 720p on Xbox.

Oh, i see, thanks. I thought these titles ran at 30fps on the Xbox One, hence why i was confused. Thanks for clarifying! Those titles are not getting a bump to 120 from their current frame rate, which was 60 fps.

Where is Dragon Age? :(
