I can't remember the last time I took a selfie, so yes

I don't care for a full-screen phone or bezel-less either, my phone got a big ass bezel lol

I don't care enough about the greater screen ratio to lose a feature.

It's like people going crazy for thinner phones at the expense of battery life or the people that celebrated the removal of the 3.5mm jack for...huh, I don't remember what the supposed gain was there...

I'll never understand why folks want to have features removed for bullshit that doesn't matter.

I'm guessing some of the people saying yes don't care about bezels either. My phone got full bezels, I just don't use the front-facing camera

Fucking hell yeah I would. The number of times I have taken selfies I can count on two hands. It's because of the distracting notches and screen holes that I'm going to get a Note 9 when the Note 10 releases, as the Note 9 will get a price drop. Note 9 is one of the last phones that will have slim bezels. Fairly sure Pixel 4 will use a screen hole, as will Note 10. I'm out of options.

Yes, please.

Then again, I don't really like all screen phones in the first place. It's an "innovation" that I never really wanted. That and stupidly thin phones with 3.5 mm jack are the worst gimmicks.

Voted no. I don't care about selfies but I use FaceTime a ton.

I couldn't care less about the notch either. It looks fine to me.

I voted yes because I don't give a shit about selfies, that said I also care about damn speakers and totally don't mind bezels for speakers either.

Just wait 2 years and buy a full screen phone with the camera behind the screen and no mechanisms or anything else.

And no, because my wife and I send each other photos of us and our kid all the time.

No, one of the key ways I talk to lots of friends and families so without selfies and selfie videos it would be weird as hell

I hate selfies so yes. I never take them or use the front facing camera at all. It would be an awesome "feature" if they could leave that out.

I don't see why anyone would want no cam over a pop-up. There's zero downside having one.

I'm waiting for an all screen phone all the way around. Zero bezel, all glass, no buttons or jacks. Can only charge wirelessly and can only play audio over Bluetooth.
It would be a nightmare. But it'd also be a neat novelty!

Hell no. I use my front facing camera and Face ID plenty, I don't take selfies but there's plenty of uses beyond that.

A year ago I would have said yes, but not now. My 8 month old daughter looooves when I point the selfie cam at us so she can see her face next to mine.

I don't use selfie cams a lot, but I would rather have a notch or a punch than a phone without one.

I'd be curious to see a phone with a "pop-up" front camera that comes out the top when needed. Probably wouldn't work (or would take up too much space or look ugly as sin, etc.), but losing the selfie functionality entirely is worse to me than having the notch/blocked screen portion.
there are actually more than a few phones with that already.

I think characterising the front facing cam as "for selfies" is maybe skewing the results here. There's incredible utility in that cam for video calls, it's indispensable.

I would really enjoy a phone without cameras with a big screen and a good enough gpu/cpu which I could play my PC games .
The touch screen can also be removed.

I don't care for all-screen, bezels are OK. I'd 100% prefer no front camera over a notch, tho.

There are really people that never take a group selfie with mates just out at the pub or the beach or some shit?

Yes,

I never used the front camera for anything. Never took a selfie before and never used any form of video chat.

front cameras are used more than just selfies

facetime calling, facial unlocks, knowing you're looking at it for screem dimming etc. it's too ingrained in the modern smart phone design. Like trying to build a modern controller without a second stick

No, I use it for video calling sometimes and I'm too used to the speed and ease of use of faceID, I'd hate to downgrade to a fingerprint scanner or something.

Sacrifice a bunch of capabilities for minor aesthetic benefits. Y'all are crazy.
Removing the front shooter just to get 5 square millimeters of screen real estate is worse than removing the headphone jack for whatever bogus reasons ...
