Trailer was super rad. Loved Gadot, the costume at the end, the riding the lightning, the vibes, the hokey Pedro Pascal, and Pine. The trash can line got me.

However

Fuck those spoilers in the tweets in this page wtf guys

It's weird I kinda of expected to see Cheetah and not just her human form. I don't know this seems pretty flat as far as trailers go, not terribly exciting. I'm in for Pedro Pascal hamming it up as an 80's villain though.

Why is pop culture so obsessed with particularly the year 1984?

I absolutely hate that golden outfit at the end.

Rest of trailer looks great though.

Orwell probably has something to do with it.

Plus, it was an bafflingly legendary year for movies/pop culture.

1984 alone saw the releases of:

- Beverly Hills Cop
- Ghostbusters
- The Terminator
- Red Dawn
- A Nightmare on Elm Street
- Gremlins
- The Karate Kid
- Police Academy
- Amadeus
- Footloose
- Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
- This is Spinal Tap
- Romancing the Stone
- Sixteen Candles
- Once Upon a Time in America
- The Last Starfighter
- The Neverending Story
- Dune

Jesus, that is pretty absurd.

People who grew up in the 80s and 90s right now represent the adults w/ disposable income segment of the market, so they are being catered to. 20 years ago there was a ton of 60s/70s nostalgia pandering to boomers. In 15 years there will be a comic book period movie set in 2005 and people will eat it up too.

Halfway to a good trailer, not showing any story and barely touching the villains made it seem kind of nothing.

The leaks don't really seem to make it that interesting either.

So there is some kind of wish fulfillment shenanigans going on, perhaps a deal with the devil type thing? Is there a deity or something that does that in WW?
I was hoping for a look at Cheetah.

Her suit looks really bright now, which is great.

I do hope I like this one more than the first. I am seemingly one of the few people who was really disappointed in the first film and found it quite mediocre.
Nah I'm there with you, it was rather standard fare. Nothing amazing.

Awesome trailer, been waiting for this. I'm a little disappointed not showing Cheetah but i think they might do that in the 2nd trailer. Love the music and overall look of this, although it sorta reminds me a bit of the 3rd season of Stranger Things, which i was kinda iffy on

Didn't like the first one, specially the action scenes because it looked too floaty but this one seems to be better. (didn't like the "riding the lightining)

Looks amazing, she's the perfect Wonder Woman.
In my Berenstein reality it was Gina Carano. Gal is ok but she's too willowy for WW
Is she destroying the wall around Gaza in the trailer?

right after the Begins
oh my god, to see her power slide the Gaza partition would be amazingly glorious but I mean c'mon. the IDF jokes are earned
Thank god Chris Pine is there to do the acting for the both of them.
harsh but fair

Same here. I'll watch it with my son anyway but i thought the first one wasn't that good.
But this looks better already.

I dig it. So glad they ditched the grim Zack Snyder Aesthetic. Weird retro aesthetic without being the usual "80s tropes".

I guess I was already in to begin with, but the trailer basically solidified my thoughts.

Dang this looks good actually

I really liked the original movie until it kind of fell apart during the third act but it was still great and this looks good too.
